Sorry for the delay in response however my picasa is acting funny and is hanging my PC everytime i'm trying to export the pics. The original pics taken from the digicam are over 1 mb so can't upload them directly.

Here is one pic that i managed to extract when we were putting the bags in the car.

Sold the old front body coloured bumper and the spoiler today for Rs 50. I did put them up for grabs on the giveaway thread but there were no takers.

Felt really sad as both these parts were perfect and very much usable.

Nice ride there dude but i see the regn number changing from DL ( in the first pic ) to CH in the last pic. Did you move to CH after buying this car?

Also why don't you for for alloys? I'm sure your ride would look even better.

It sure is but is'nt he supposed to get a Delhi number when the temp number is starting with DL?

CH has its own temp codes. I may be wrong unless he moved to CH from DL.

My front speakers and the amp have been giving me problems for a while now so thought of disposing the AMP and installing new set of speakers.

Went to Karol bagh yesterday and managed to sell off the AMP for Rs 500 and bought a new set of SONY front speakers for Rs 1000.

Now there is one confusion that i have , i just want to have a decent music system now with 2 back and 2 front speakers. I've got 2 new front ones for now however i still have the box at the back with 2 Xplods and one woofer.

Please someone help me with the following confusion -

1) Either i keep the set up the same as it is ( with the front 2 speakers and the box at the back )

2 ) Sell off the woofer and get a tray with 2 Xplods only or with 2 small boxes so that i can accomaodate few bags for my trips which happen pretty frequently - Getting this done involves cost and time.

Here are few pictures of getting the front speakers changed.

Read your entire thread with great interest. I guess you should rename your thread "Alto-many mishaps...and a love story" or "Crash test dummy who lives to tell tale'!

While I appreciate your love for your Alto and your honesty in chronicling the details of each episode, your Alto has certainly witnessed more abuse that it may have been designed for. You should send your story to Maruti and may be, they may incorporate your experiences when they boast about the safety aspects of the Alto, which neither has ABS nor air bags.

Thanks for going through the thread with interest , i've tried my best to cover all the aspects of the ownership along with available pictures.

Well about the accidents i really don't know if this car is lucky or UN-lucky for me but it has definetely saved my life many a times. Sending my story to Maruti might lead them to put my car under the knife to check the reasons.. Good thought though.

[/ATTACH]Few pictures from my last weekend trip to Vaishno Devi in Katra ( Jammu ) 650 kms from Delhi..Hope you like them.

The car behaved as good as a trained tiger and did not give any problems inspite of the TASK it was assigned TO - http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/travel...shno-devi.html

Nice snaps. Glad to see that it is serving you well.
PS-you seem quite averse to the camera. Or it may be drowsiness

Thanks a ton Bro.The road is pretty nice all the way expect few patches after Jallandhar.

No the Exhaust doesn't touch the ground on breakers or pot holes unless there are 4 passengers on board with baggages..the rear tyres scrapes the body though very frequently.

BTW here is my TL on this recent visit to Vaishno Devi on my Alto - http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/travel...shno-devi.html
