Congrats on the car gemi, and a nice choice of color too.Disguises the blandness to an extent(no offense!).Superb practicality,on the other hand, seems to be the Figo's forte! An all round great package marred by iffy looks.

All that to have a sub-4 meter length! A little extra room at the expense of a little safety!

gemi, congrats for owning the red hot Figo ! I too have booked for the same color, in fact I hadn't seen it while booking. Only last week I happened to see it in flesh and I had no doubt about my choice. And now your pics make it even more exciting !

Looks like Kerala Ford dealers are getting special treatment from Ford ! Somebody was talking about 30 deliveries in a day at Cochin. I too should have booked it there and saved more than 50K on road tax alone...But then I have to drive around in Bangalore where I live and with KL numberplate, I will be juicy target for the traffic cops and will soon end up paying road tax in Bangalore as well :-( . Really, it is a rip off in Bangalore with 14.5% road tax where in Kerala it is only 6%. And with the highest road tax in India, we get the worst road in Bangalore.

She look terrific in red and Congratz! i somehow missed the thread early. Ford vehicles somehow put a smile on to your face with just a drive, which these jap, korean lot struggles to.

Do keep updating your experience.

cheers

Gemi, welcome back to the Ford clan, after the Fusion.
The car looks nice in red, and the diesel economy is only going to make others jealous.

Congrats on your new car. Figo looks very good in red, saw a test drive car on saturday. Very clean lines comparing to Ritz, Astar, Beat etc. As others mentioned empty chamber in the tail lamp looks like fog lamp option, not sure though.

Gemi, Congrats on your new car, can you post some more interior pics? I would be interested to see the upholstery for the EXi version and the color of the Stereo display. In some of the pics on the Figo website, the HU display shown is Green. Is that the case?

Cheers!!!

The display is a kind of red. Its followed all through the instrument cluster. The lights on the speedo cluster turn on and off in a theatre style (slowly) and when the lights are turned on the display light (the rectangular one thta shows ODO/DTE/Trip) dims a little bit. Thats real good thinking by Ford.

Gemi - congrats on the new car

You have this feature in the Palio as well - the digital clock light dims when you stich on the head lights / parking lights.

it is more of a standard feature in the recent cars.

gemi, any significant difference in pick up with and without A/C ? I had a short TD and through out it was with A/C. As the a/c is having more capacity compared to other hatches, any issues of more power being sucked for that ?

Figo not withstanding, there is something about the Palio Adventure that makes me go weak in the knees whenever i see it. Why FIAT why!

Congrats on the new car. Its one of the best VFM deal in the Indian car market right now.

P.S. Colorado Red is my favourite color on Figo as well apart from white.

The Figo looks like Ikon from the front and Fusion from behind. But it is not a bad looking car compared to Ritz!
