Is this price included in car's bill or the amount is asked separately in your case?

It's included in the "Registration and RTO charges".

Yup! The amount was included. But the cheap thing they gave is deplorable.

Strange, haven’t faced peeling issue with any chrome part be it steering or outside logo. How old is your car?

You can report this issue to Honda people (complain about poor quality) and may be they can replace it for free.

PS - Did you applied anything (like dashboard polish etc) on steering wheel?

Relax and get one of those cool red Honda logos. If the quality is nice, these logos look pretty good. I have one for my Civic as well but haven't applied yet. I didn't know you could buy these logos from TBHP classifieds! Cool.
Hello guys,

Finally received the Honda Mugen logo today by courier.
Yet, to stick it to the steering.
The quality looks okay but nothing of sorts to write home about.
But, I think it's still better than having a faded/peeled logo on steering wheel which was a complete eyesore. It's also got a sticker behind it, so it's just a simple pasting job on steering. Total damage: 500 + 50 for courier= 550/-

Here is the pic.

A closer look of my car's number plate.

These plates are standard on all cars sold by Ring Road Honda (Delhi and Gurgaon region). The plates are of steel but I have no complaint about the quality as the stickers are intact and no rust whatsoever.

The fiber plates came with my WagonR and was broken by the car cleaning guy while removing the cover. Later I changed to steel plates on WagonR also.

Here is the pic after pasting the logo.
IMO it's looking good and matched perfectly with the Orange display of dash.
Well, I know looks are subjective and some won't like it but I love it
Pardon for the mobile picture quality.
Bluevolt, hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread.

It's looking good vtecguy. Its perfectly fitting the pasting area. Definitely better than the chrome peeled OEM sticker.

And no issue whatsoever on hijacking; our primary aim is to share information and help each other. Everyone is welcome to the thread.

Vtec guy, the red Honda badge looks great on the steering-wheel. I love the red badge. I would love to know where I can source the same, not just for the steering, but also for the front grille and the rear boot-lid?

Sorry for the late dude. Looks great on your car. Perfect match. If possible, please avoid using that place again whenever your are at the wheels (when holding the steering) or when you press the horn so that it remains intact for a longer duration. I know you may have never used that area but still, just ensure

Which product is best for removing minor scratches on the bumper(including hair line scratches on body)? Polishing/waxing didn't helped. Using comp-paint on small scratches is not an good idea as there is little difference in color shade.

Have it touched up at Honda A.S.S. the next time you go for servicing. Honda does this job Free-Of-Cost.

Last time when I asked them to do the touch up job they told me that the color is out of stock. May be that's the reason that they do it free of cost.

^^ I know, common problem for Habanero red.

Pearl Honda told me that they don't have a shade of that colour at all. The red they have is the NHC's shade; which is more towards magenta.

It depends on the depth of scratch.
If the depth is very small, rubbing/polishing will help the surrounding paint to cover the scratch, but again it is only for a very small depth.
Waxing will not help in covering the scratches.
Spray and other magic sticks would not be helpful and may make it worse due to difference in colors.
In my case there were some small scratches on the front bumper and I asked the service center to touch up with thin brush to cover the scratch. Of course I was standing next to see if this is acceptable and if not to stop the work.
Since it was plastic area and at a much lower level, the touch up work is alright and cannot be easily seen.
If you can post some pictures of the scratches with its location then it will help in better understanding and response.
