| ![]() Though I am no expert on luxury cars, I would offer my 2 cents mainly from a 'desire' point-of-view. The G55 looks awesome on the road (specially in black) but honestly does not look its price with a Cayenne or an Evoque sure to steal more eyeballs. Ground Clearance aside, I would certainly look at the 6-series coupe but then again would it really be so much of an upgrade over your 530D considering the price you'll pay for it? Im sorry for adding to your confusion but it would be much easier if you could elaborate a bit on your usage pattern and priorities (bling, performance etc etc.) |

| ![]() Go for the Cayenne Turbo!! Its got speed, luxury and go anywhere capability(well, somewhat) all in one package!! Or the big Rangie(the Vogue). Both give you amazing road presence, though if low GC are not a concern, then the R8 for sure!! |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() The Porsche is a nice car, but I've always thought it looks like a squashed VW Beetle. Get something unique, like the new SLK 55 AMG. I've driven one, and it is an absolute beast. The power is just unbelievable. (PS: I have no idea how much it costs in India, but I'm guessing 1cr will be sufficient or pretty close!) ![]() |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Have a look at Nissan 370Z. Even though it's way below your budget, the car is a stunner. I had a chance of driving this 332 Bhp monster once. Amazing orange-backlit cockpit, 0-100 in less than 6 secs, ultimate drivability in B2B traffic, good enough GC for our roads. |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() Sujith, Kochi roads have enough & more of BMWs MBs. Try to pick something unique like Ajay mentioned, a 370Z or if u want to seat 4 & some more GC, the Evoque. Well, if I had 1 Cr budget (which i don't foresee in this millenium) i would buy LC200 for life. & yeah, I will take the black one please. |

Team-BHP Support ![]() ![]() | ![]() For ~1 crore rupees on a brand new car, there's only one car I'd consider : The Nissan GT-R. Doesn't have the tantrums of Italian sports cars, Japanese reliability will prove to be a boon and can whup a 911 whenever you want. Get one in black (or grey) with black wheels (compulsory). You are only 29, have some fun now. There's plenty of time for the S-Class' et al later in life. Related Thread |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() Do you drive or get driven around? Is ground clearance a bother? What are your priorities - comfort or handling? Depending on these, I would recommend you look at the following: - Jag XJL: It might be large, but compared to a 7/A8/S, nothing beats the sense of occasion the Jag has. Second option in this is the A8. Best options to be chauffeur driven in. - BMW 6 series/Mercedes CLS/Audi A7: Different, and a surprisingly good blend of the two extremes. Quite desirable and unique - Porsche Cayenne/Range Rover: Good GC, good to drive, and well built - Porsche 911: Sophisticated, fun to drive, practical sports car |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() Do any of the cars suggested get delivered in 1 month? How much are the GC's of GT-R (Global 110mm) & 370Z (Global 114mm) in India ? Last edited by Skyline GT-R : 15th November 2011 at 10:43. |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() The GTR unlike mentioned by GTO is not for Rs 1 cr..its in the upwards of it..and also the dealership will not get it for you, so it does not cover any warrenties as well. I would say wait for the new M5 to launch at the Expo and you will have the best of both worlds..daily driver and a monster when you hit the M botton. |

| ![]() It all depends on how finicky you are with the options list and the colour you want. Some of these cars would have been imported already, but if you want a specific colour, you might have to wait. If there is an example in the showroom that is of your colour choice and spec'ed as per your whim, you could take delivery in a week or even lesser. But if you're choosy, the car might be delivered after several months! Quote:
