Deciding 99% on the X20d corporate for 26lacs. Negotiating for bsi ultimate 5 years/60000.

Any tips ? What minimum accessories and addons should I consider?

Adi : the olde 3s are all gone and only one x1 exclusive available is in black , which I don't want and again not budging below 32lac.

You should bargain hard for atleast 4 - 5 L discount on 26 lacs. Many dealers are offering that. How much does the BSI cost otherwise ?

I did not find an issue with the steering , in fact I lived the genuine feel it gives. However, one of my friends who test drove it found it very hard, but the I found out he was used to driving his over servoed steering ( yes , very popular in Asian cars).

Congrats bro!! You have made a good choice... & Yeah the steering certainly has a 'genuine' feel which the true Bimmer fans love... Drove the F30 320d base model a couple of days back (on empty roads at 11 pm...exclusive TD session organised for me by the BMW 'mobile showroom' Patna after their opening ceremony got over) and felt that apart from the sports mode, all other modes are relatively 'less-fun-to-drive' than an E90 3er. & since you booked the exclusive, I truly believe that you'd find it a much more overall VFM package than the F30 baseline (Panoramic roof, Leather interiors, etc)

Congratulations on the X1 20d Exclusive Barua. Since you've done this recently, what kind of discounts can I expect/negotiate on the all-new F30 3-series here in Mumbai? It is varying vastly across trims?

Also some limited inventory of the E90 is being retailed at higher discounts obviously with an objective of stock clearance. If it were to come to that, how does the F30 stand up to the E90?

What rebates did you manage to pull on your deal?

Thanks Anurag. Did they offer that upfront? If yes, it usually means they have some left in the bag for when you actually sit across the table and brandish the check book.

Also could you please tell me which dealership is this? Any idea about the 320d Sport Line?

The just added a sunroof and premium hifi to the 320d Sportline, so unlikely you will get a discount on those. But on the stock without a sunroof and premium hifi you should get a decent discount. What happened to the 328i?

Good to hear from you buddy! Have you been in slumber or what?!

Anyway my mind is still set on the 328i. Let's just say, it is facing some stiff opposition at home right now. Not everyone is appreciative of a 40 L petrol engine-powered beemer. So I'm treading a little slowly there. But fingers crossed

How're the E90 and the RS doing btw?

I could ask you the same

45l you mean lol. The 328i comes to that much OTR Mumbai. New lots are expected in Jan I think. But to be honest the 320d Sportline won't be that bad. After all you do save about 8 lacs. You could get the power kit for that like I just got on mine, and it gets a bit better.

The RS and the E90 are doing just fine, check out their threads for the latest updates

Yup I know and which is what I said is the biggest roadblock right now. Let's see how it goes though.

Tell me more about the power kit. Can you PM?

On the f30 you won't get much discount , unless you club in with do a bulk deal with friends and accomplices for say 8 plus cars. Else at the time of my purchase they were not offering more then waiver of 1st years insurance ,which works out to around 1.5 lac. It's also logically not to discount such a car, when it. Is just being launched. They will hold for as long as they can.

But if you bundle in bmw finance, you may expect a overall better deal.
