Looks like I misunderstood you. I thought you had not yet taken delivery of the car.

I think that particular car has been allotted against his booking. The actual delivery of the car is not done yet, I think.

Re: BMW 3-Series GT vs Mercedes GLC-Class

I took the delivery of my X3 30d yesterday and drove the car back home (approx 200 km). The car had 15 km on the odo at the time of delivery. To my surprise, I felt the ride quality really smooth and even better than my Linea. I was expecting a horrendous ride quality with 19" wheels and stiff BMW setup, but I was completely wrong. 30d engine is a gem as well and is amazingly smooth even when revved hard. I am happy that I opted for the 30d variant and it is good to feel that I could get it at 20d expedition variant's price level

Thank you all for guiding me and wish you a very happy new year!

Congratulations Karthik. It's a lovely machine and you'll love every minute behind the wheel. Which colour btw? Pictures please!

From what I could make out the current model has the following updates compared to my car. Makes it even more desirable IMO
- Updated M Steering Wheel
- Updated 5.0 iDrive interface
- Staggered 19" Wheels
- Active TPMS with pressure indicators.

Thank you Santosh. It is a white color car. I will upload the pics soon

The car came with a new iDrive interface and staggered 19" wheels, but still not sure about the type of TPMS. I will check the manual to see if it has any info about it. Thanks again for your wonderful thread which made me to strongly consider X3 30d

For the TPMS, if I remember correctly in the new idrive the menu you need to go into is called car or vehicle. And then find the tyre pressure option. Basically it will show you the exact pressure in the tyres.

Great! Congratulations!

Can we have some photos please? And how about a detail review with initial impressions.

thanks, since i was originally planning to get an X1 expedition or Tucson and finally ended up with an X3 30d by almost doubling my budget, I got to earn some money before I could make some cosmetic upgrades

Re: BMW 3-Series GT vs Mercedes GLC-Class

Just did my first trip with my new X3 and I am already in love with it. It's ride quality is surprisingly good and is able to take bad roads really well. I was happy that I didn't opt for a sporty sedan after encountering some seriously bad roads in Coonoor on the way to the resort.
