Practical suggestion, I agree. Nothing beats the comfort in the first seat especially on SUV. If he agrees to this, perhaps Endeavour can also be considered.

Well, although OP has not mentioned time at which his Dad travels but I doubt driver attentiveness will be an issue. I regularly sleep in the front seat when I am traveling in any hired car and mostly sit in the front. Though I keep on engaging with driver from time to time and wear dark glasses

V class is very large, I checked it twice, it will be good only for the professional tour operators or some very large corporates/ HNI. Here OP also has parking issues.

I got a chance to travel in my Petrol Innova for around 150 Km yesterday and around 10 Km on a Diesel Innova, for multiple reasons, I find Petrol Innova much better on comfort. Can definitely be considered if OP's dad want to use only the rear seat.

Since SUV and backseat are your must-haves, go in for either the Audi Q5, BMW X3 or the Jaguar F-Pace. As GTO mentioned, if your father doesn't mind the front seat, most cars will do, but the Volvo XC60 is the best one in that price range.

An E-Class has one of the best backseats around, but getting in there isn't the most convenient, as the seat is pushed further behind.

Hey Guys,

Sorry for the late revert. Thank you all for the inputs. My father recently started having disc problems forcing us to postpone the test drives. Once he recovers we will do them.
