Re: What car to replace a Polo GT TSI

Get a used kia seltos dct . Or a used cross over. Try the Nexon . Someday you will have to replace the GT TSI .

Infact keep the GT and get another car for the safe family drives .

Re: What car to replace a Polo GT TSI

Easy - get a used Octavia.

Cavernous boot, good space at the back and even better road manners and performance than you're used to. The luxury of being able to throw in a stroller and other baby items in the boot without a care is priceless. You're also well covered on the safety front too. And if you survived VW dealers, Skoda dealers aren't going to be that different.

I'm looking at a budget of ~13 lakhs and open to considering used cars too. Some cars I had in mind but ruled out now:
1. New Venue
2. New Yaris
3. Used A-class
4. Used Jetta
5. New Ecosport

Cars that I'm still considering:
1. Kushaq / Taigun
2. Used Elantra SX(O)
3. Used Volvo V40
4. Used Yeti
5. Used Yaris V or VX
6. Used Octavia
Upgrading from a Polo GT is definitely a tougher choice as it has always been.

A strong NO for any used luxury cars. Unless you have a deep pocket and a big heart. In fact, I strongly recommend you to consider only a new car instead of a used one (from your list)

Given your budget of 13L ONR, I recommend you not to choose the VAG cousins since you will miss out on a lot of bells and whistles when you go with the entry models.

These are my recommendations
1. Current Rapid 1.0 TSI (nextgen is already in the testing phase which is scheduled to launch in late 2021 or early 2022)
2. Current Eco-Sport 1.5 TDCi (again nextgen/facelift is in the testing phase - expected to launch in 2021 or early 2022). The diesel Eco-sport is more fun to drive than the petrol since the latter feels underpowered.
3. Nexon petrol
4. 4th gen Honda City 1.5
"Pre-worshipped" cars
1. Octavia / Jetta
2. Compass Diesel (Petrol is underpowered and not so responsive)
3. Civic Petrol
4. Duster Diesel

Re: Pre-worshipped luxury car for 10 - 15 lakhs?

Hey guys,
So My BMW 320 D just completed 5 years and the time period for extended warranty has also exhausted. Could anyone please help me with a good mechanic in Punjab/ Delhi area now that I dont necessarily need to take it to a BMW dealership.
