I'd say go for the Nissan. If the teana is the same body as the nissan maxima then its a very nice car.

My choice: Toyota Camry

As competing vehicles in the segment, the Teana and Superb are due for replacement next year, therefore the Camry is the freshest and most modern.

For back seat comfort, the Teana is right up there, it also has a gem of an engine, a good buy except for its price. For a previous generation car, it is clearly overpriced.

The Superb offers good quality and loads of space, but personally I think it looks too much like the Octavia/Laura - cars that cost half as much!

Those were the reasons why I recommend the Camry.

Honestly speaking, that's my only grouse about the Superb - looks more or less the same!

@Suman, will you be driving this car around by any chance ?

The Camry, IMO, looks the best of the lot. Would suit a sr. veep.
Skoda - loaded no doubt, but mind will seriously oppose heart.
Teana - Didn't like it's looks. The Camry has waaay more presence.

Dump all 3 and go for a CRV.

How much is the A4 , Passat on road in Delhi ?

So any choices slected? Superb looks more or less like other Skodas, actually its takes a while for you to distinguish between Laura and Superb... i think most of the not so enthu types might mistake Superb for Octavia rider! And that would be an injustice to the 23 odd lakhs that you've spent!!!

Let us all know what the lucky VP is gonna use for teh next five years!

Cheers!

Suman ,

If your VP is a quiet , understated kind of a guy - Nissa Teana.

If he prefers a dash of jazz and stylish looks - Toyota Camry.

Skoda Superb - if you want to get the diesel version only.

Cheers

Camry is a good car, but there is only a 2.4 ltr engine in MT. AT with 2.4 might feel a tad sluggish.

If you are in the game to provide alternatives to your boss and work up his imagination then there are more alternatives in that range. Volkswagen Passat and Touareg (over the budget nevertheless a solid vehicle)

Welcome to Volkswagen India.

If Passat is too plain jane then something like the Audi A4

Audi India > New Cars > A4

Or even the BMW 3 series

International BMW website

No nothing wrong with the petrol version. Its just that if you have a awesome diesel option in that range , why not ?

My vote would be something like this:
  1. Toyota Camry
  2. Nissan Teana
  3. Skoda Superb
Definitely in the above order!

Go for the Camry - It looks drop dead hot !!! Skoda Superb looks like a WW2 vehicle in front of the ultra modern camry, Nissan Teanna is good - but then how many Nissan service centres do we have ?

So go for the Camry !! Your Boss is going to be happy
