I was waiting for you to get done with your run-in, actually a person like you with good tastes in mods, need not be reminded. And whats all this talk about horsepower bhp stuff, common people talk about the torque.

Torque goes upto 400NM+, more then a M3, enough to pull your Octy, Viva & Lancer together.

Welcome BUSA - so you finally came in with your "torquey" suggestions eh ?? LOL Thanks very much for the sugestions - but as of now the car is staying stock (what stock - it's fully loaded) Even the Audio is great - may add an amp & Subwoofer later.

@ Akshay - thanks for the linky. The figures indicated at the site are pretty much what the Custom Code remap would give me. I think Pete's is far more reliable as he will be able to help out IF the need be vs a PHOREN .... remap situation with no back up.

Still wondering if I should go with the 225/50/16's just to fill up the wheel arches more than they are right now. I wish they had an option of upsizing at the Showroom would surely have gone in for it.

Finally upgraded the tyres to 225/50/16 Michelin Pilot Precedas 2. The asthetic appeal is surely enhanced & the wheel wells look fuller & better.

The look of the car from dead front or dead rear is OOOOMMMMPPPPPHHHHHH !!!!!!!!! cheers:

I am just taking it easy initially. but you can feel the insane amount of power, even if you just about nudge the gas pedal. She is a GREAT car to drive.

How are the new tyres doing? Did the lower profile affect ride quality?

The lower profile is really not lower - as you would see the profile has gone from 55 to 50 but the tread width has gone from 205 to 225. The ride is perfect. There is absolutely no compromise or complain.

The audio setup pictures will tell you something about itself - I was quite amazed to see the flat speaker in the rear parcel shelf. Never knew speakers came in this shape AND sound good as well.

Have been toying with the idea of an audio "upgrade". HU remains stock, maybe add a 3 / 5 channel amp to power front / rear components & a Subwoofer. Speakers Image Dynamics / Rainbow / Hertz. Amp - Genisis / Audison / or another option, ( the name of which I do not remember)

This inspite of the Stock system being good - but only upto a certain volume level. I do not normally listen to music at VERY high volumes - so it is workable for me

My worry is the warranty. Various people I have talked to say that the warranty should not be nullified if the system is properly installed.

Any views from members who may have gone this route, and having run into warranty issues.

Any informed comments / experiences welcome.
