I am also looking for Toyota sera and infact have seen one in mumbai (photos only) and would like to know some more details like maintenance, part availability and very important whether such cars can be insured?

Came across this Toyota car parked near my house, was in hurry so could not click lot many pics but have attached a couple of them. Can anyone identify this car? Maybe next time I see it around, I will click a few more pics.
This a modded Toyota and a two seater I guess so.

sera indeed! I love the butterfly doors and full glass (?) roof.

Was this available few years back? Is it being sold as CKD unit? I feel some enthusiast might have brought this but its a damn well maintained one I must say.

IMO it's not sold by Toyota India. Has to have been imported directly by the buyer.

Toyota Sera. With some custom mods.

I did see the same car two weeks back in Thane near Majewadi Jucntion. It was pitch dark so could not really take out the pics. The car was bought that day only because there was a big garland put on the bonnet and no PATIL written as you could see in this pic.

Lovely White - The same type of white on Audi , the skirts look killer too

Does anyone know the the exact name of this kind of white ?

It is a Toyota Sera with Eagle doors. This car became a rage in mid/late 90s ever since Sanjay Dutt was seen in one of the Sanjay Khan movies ('Yalgaar' I think, am not sure). I was staying close to Greater Kailash in New Delhi those years and there were couple of these around. Used to see them in M-block market all the time. This one looks to be maintained well. Sid

Looks like a modded Toyota Sera indeed.

The normal (non modded) version was kept for a long time at the Petrol Station on the expressway. This was a few years ago though, probably when they were imported.

Toyota Sera IMO. Circa 1995-6.
