Hi Guys
I am kinda new to the forum but I have seen a lot of threads
I was interested in buyig a toyota sera I am from Mumbai
If anyone knows or could help me with the same I would be delighted
I have called most of the car dealer as well surfed the net but could get one,
Please help me with the same, cause I need to buy it ASAP......

you should try one of the imported car dealers on Andheri Link road(opp Infinity), Oshiwara..I had recently seen a Maroon one for sale, 3.5 lacs approx..ok condition..

How about honda crx?
its similar to sera with similar specs.
you may not get the exclusivity as the sera but yes to the fun factor.

Dragster's CRX got sold a while ago.
I know of a hardtop blazing green CRX though, with a dealer in bandra. I have ben seeing that car since some ten years now, and looks to be in good shape.
There was a beautiful silver hard top push button convertible in mint condition CRX, a 96-97 spec, clean paperwork, the works. Now if someone could locate that car, and it hasnt been messed around with (i had seen it back in 2002), it would be the best you could do in the import convertible scene in bombay.

Btw, a red suzuki cappuccino is back at chokseys in santacruz. Had seen this car alongside the silver CRX and it was in great shape too. This would be a nice extremely low budget convertible car, but its only got a 600 cc mill and scrapes almost everything.

There is a Honda CRX here- in very decent condition - available in Chenani. I remember seeing a black sera a while back with another dealer- I can check and revert.

In what way are the two cars same apart from the doors? I have never seen a manual Sera here.

yes you can try that too.( i think the spares are relatively easier to get than the sera)

Yah maxda miata would be cool if the condition would be good
the condition of the car is really bad
not only exterior but also the interiors are really bad
and the iing on the cake is he is asking for 6 lacs which is really high for a miata
dont you think guys........

How about including an MR2 in your list of potentials too? Its more of a drivers car than most mentioned in this thread, and could sell in the same kind of money too.
