Thank you indra_slk. the colour is silver. no that is the industrial compound where mercedes has their stockyard. picture was taken when the car was taken for registration from there. i have a textile factory.

Like they say "beggars cannot be choosers". Mercedes had imported two cars one white and one silver that were at their stockyard. the white did not have the foot board, rear ac and the bixenons. the silver had it all. next morning i got a call saying someone had taken the white so i was left with the silver. Due to the cars enourmous size you do require the rear ac espesially with the Bombay heat. the foot board was also important for my mother to get into the car, i could live without the Xenons. i just sent a confirmation amount and a week later the car was with me.

the Base 320cdi comes to around 65 on road. the one i got comes to 78 on road. i did tell you i had saved on this substantially.

please do check with Audi. what you are Quoteing is the showroom price and not on road. the ML showroom price is also 58 for the base and 68/69 for the sports package one. i have checked all Suv prices and the cars seeing their options, A.S.S. and then decided on what was best suited for me.

i paid 68 for my car, that makes it 2 lacs cheaper than your car Indra_Slk.

are you sure Kau. i was informed of it being more. 55 or 56 lacs and on road would come in the 60 something bracket. My Aunts car which is not an S - line was for more than 52 lacs, that is why i am asking.

ok point taken. you would save a total of about 10 lacs on the registration, octroi and other charges. so the car would fall to about 60 lacs on road.
Hey just for your knowledge i have asked the people of Mercedes to check the service center in Goa. they said they would look into the matter.

just spoke to a friend of mine who is the bmw dealer. he tells me to go in for the x5 3.0d. it comes to 65 lacks without sunroof and dvd. is it a good deal?
