Mercedes Benz E 250 D

Hi,

Need advice from anyone driving or have owned a Merc E 250 D. I am think of getting one. Maybe a 98 or 99 model. Would anyone suggest anything else? Only Merc please.

how much should it cost me? Thanks for you help guys!!!

Handsome car but the auto is not really fast...the mannual can be driven hard to get good acceleration...but not the quickest of mercs...I have seen prices in Mumbai ranging between Rs. 7 to 10 lacs (depending on condition) ....check out carewale their car valuse section is usually spot on in regards to used car prices. You could get a C class 200 CDI if u stretch to Rs. 11 to 13 lacs...I think the C200 CDI's of 2001 are faster/more nimble newer looking and easy to manage in city parking/driving...etc

Go for W 124 series E 250 Diesel of Indian Make. that has modified suspension, more ground clearance, 5 cylinder and really an over engineered car. Now 2009-2010 Merc wants to bring the same quality standard leaving the "better than the competitor" strategy, so you can think about the quality
