Luxury car prices

Any news on whether BMW or Mercedes is reducing prices due to the 4% drop in excise?

Also what about CBU (fully imported) units such as BMW X3 or Mercedes ML class? Someone was mentioning to me that CBU units are not effected by the excise drop? I'm confused.

Technically, they should. In any case, if you're out to buy one of them, you'll get a pretty sweet deal considering it's not only nearing month-end, but year end as well. Add to that, the 3 is on it's way out.

Since Merc. is gonna roll out the new E-class, the W211's are now available at a discount of Rs.7lac if you're interested.

I guess the CBUs are not affected by the pricing.

Heard that from a honda dealer about CR-V

Got a very decent deal for a friend, on the 320d. This seems to be the best time to strike a deal. If you are really interested 4 Lacs off the sticker price should not be tough, provided you carry your cheque book with you (show serious intent of purchase)

Cheers

yes 3 series is being offered at very attractive prices. I bought 320i at almost 5L discount.
Similarly I have heard, there are some good offers on A6 and E class as well. Both being about to make way for their newer avatars. E class available at 7L off is a confirmed info.
CBU units are not affected in Cen -Vat cut, but i guess the discounts being offered on most vehicles because of the recession and year end are far higher than 4% cuts..
