Is the PCD of the Octavia & Cosworth the same ? In which case I could use the 17's of the Octavia on the Cosworth & go back to stock rims on the Octavia !

Cost saving measures !!

Cheers

If this(or similar) is the car in question, there is a Black one in my Colony which has exactly the same Bumper, Spoiler and side skirt combo. And If i remember correctly, the car has a "special" Badge on its back. Let me see if the car is still there as i havent seen it for a couple of weeks now. Also, the car is a scratchless brilliant shape.

Any suggestions ? The Borbets I saw on pete's website LV 4 & LV 5 - I liked. Let it flow - the suggestions I mean !!

Though I'd prefer a deep dish design !!

Whats Hijoin doing in your list. I heard what a Borbet can cost and hence

All black or all chrome should look good on a silver car, IMHO.

Cyrus bhai,
The same pics are posted on Page 2 of this thread

Ricky,
Chrome on a silver ? If you want a wicked ride, hyper black/matte would look really neat!

Hijoin among BBS, Volk & Co ? :|

The Octis wheels cant be swapped theyre 100pcd.

All mercs are 112 PCD, youll have limited choices on the available stock with every dealer. The only other car that shares this size in the indian market is the Laura.

From the Borbet range you can get CA in 16" & 17", LV5 in 17", XL in 17", FS & XA in 18"

My personal choice? LV5 in 17s with 225/45 S.Drive or Advan Neova, or 235/45 with Advan Sport... go go go !

Bingo! It's a car with a pedigree and so I would suggest getting it some good rims in a classic design. The kind of wheel on the Accord is good for tuned cars etc. but this is a thoroughbred & deserves better. IMO, of course.

How about something like this:

I would suggest going for BBS. Mercedes and BBS always go together. And the 2nd BBS which irag had posted seems to be the best choice. You get the same design in Borbett also.

BBS has been increasing its minimum size for the past few years.
First, they discontinued 14"s and kept cutting production of sizes of 15 and its now 16s.
Production of 16s has stopped and you can only order 17"s and above(unless stocks of 16s are available)

Thanks everyone, I quite like what Ishaan has posted. This is a design which is an evergreen kind of design.

Thanks Arush for the Borbet detail, would you PM me prices if you have them ?

Cheers

@ V-16

The Blue car that you saw in Bombay was indeed Kari's FIRST cosworth. It was a 2.3 automatic & not 2.5 Manual. The auto did have some kind of issue with the tranny.

Just confirmed the same from a very "reliable" source

So indeed there are Two Cosworths (owned by Karivardhan) but one is 2.3 & the other is a 2.5 !

Cheers
