I'm not sure if it is a good price, maybe others would be able to advice better on the same. With the new version around the corner you could negociate a better price as depreciation would be higher once new versions out.
But do bare in mind that the earlier E's and even some of the current ones have electronic issues. Do check the service records to see if it's one of the problematic cars. If the dealer is willing to offer extended warranty, it would be a safer bet.

Was there even a E220 W211 in the year 2003? Make sure its not a 210.

The 211 launched with the 270cdi only then came the 280/220 twins.

I remember a dealer close to my place having an E220 as well as an E280 CDI for sale. E220 asking was 17ish. Call Maheshbhai on 2446.1271.

W211, E220cdi should be in the 15/16 range. E270cdi-18/20 range, and early E280cdi-22/24 range. 2007-E280cdi is offered at 34. Although dealers are quoting higher and holding on to prices, sales are missing.
Autohagar is always higher, but they still sell since customers have some comfort level. Sahil is right, its very important to check individual car history, since some do have nagging electronic or suspension problems.

Aftab's car has been hit from the front/head on collision and I think it has also been submereged would stay away from it. I was offered a late 2005/06 E270 CDI with 14000km silver and was quoted 24 lacs PM me if intrested. Look out for submereged cars many have been caught in the 05 deluge!! Scooby is right dealers don't seem to be in the right business these old school guys are stuck in a time warp of the 80's when sellers were king it will be a while till the hangover fades. Your best bet is the times classifieds and yes they will be on their kees soon as the model change is in September and market is flooded due to economic situation and many will be trading up

Sounds to be a great deal.

Negotiate a bit, an E270 CDI with "Genuine" 14K on odo is a virgin.
