It's more like, you need to catch up with times. Please go test drive the 530i and 530d, I'd love to see your expression right after

530D was a blast to drive when I had it but is almost 7-8 lacs more than the 520D.

What do you guys recommend? I was even thinking about going for a less used 530D highline but heart always says to go for the brand new
was in the same position as you are right now and then decided to go for the BMW 530d Highline but was over my budjet so further delayed my plans and now i'm saving for 530d highline. But as of your case would I would consider you 520d or even 525i. And if you could save more or wait more than should go for the highline.

Definitely the 530d... although 535d M Sport would be ideal.

@Sahil Congrats on the 520d, the new i-drive is great.

Wish they had the M-Sport versions here. I am test driving the 530i and 520D tomorrow to see how the performance is. mostly likely will end up getting the 520D itself.

and yes I agree with Sahil these diesel engines are amazing.

Spiff: Why don’t you push the pedal of each of these cars to make up your mind. Now that you already know about the 530D through ownership, driving the rest will instantly tell you the best option.

Go get it

Guys! Gud news. Just bought the BMW 530d a few days back. Amazing carin the way it handles and corners.

It surpassed my expectations, as after 2000kms it is showing an average of 14 km/l on the highways and 10 kmpl in stop go traffic conditions.

Shall post the pics soon.

Please let me know if anymods can increase the driving pleasure and whter BSI Ulitmate Package is advisable or makes sense.

5yrs/ 100000 kms for Rs. 375000.

Pls advise.

Congrats! I was sure the discounts would seal the deal on the 530d.
Now spill the beans over PM

Remember to pair the BlackBerry and use it with i-Drive. Any ICE/Mods planned?

ok guys sad news..i went to navnit this evening to drop the cheque..my sales guy tells me sir the discount offered to you earlier today is not applicable on your color choice ( Alpine white or Monaco Blue w/ black interiors ) and it would cost 3 lac more than the quoted price.I was like didnt we sign the agreement earlier today at my office ??? He mentioned that his boss said no.

So I am back to square one as I have given him a Monday deadline to rethink his decision. What do you guys think about new A6 3.0 TDI as alternative?

A6 -- Quattro FTW!

Then you'll have 2 turbo AWDs!

A 3.0 diesel from Germany will catch up and leave a petrol in it's dust before you know what hit you.

Any more pleasure and you'll have to retro-fit a robotic arm on your dashboard to pleasure you while driving man !!

LOL just kidding. Get in touch with Insane Devil (am I correct?), I think he's got some kinda mod on his car for throttle response.

BSI packages are worth it, it's been said time and again on this forum. But just to double-check, PM the 5-series owners. There are quite a few of them on this forum now.

Absolutely fantastic. Infact to be honest I think it's the most balanced between the three germans. Kick in the *** when you want it, or a relaxed chauffeur-driven cruiser at other times. The power, coupled with the Quattro confidence, is UNBELIEVABLE. Just take a test-drive and you'll see. The pre-facelift models are going at 0% interest and a fat discount AFAIK, you'll land a sweet deal as well. And don't worry about the facelift, it's hardly noticeable.

Oh yes, remember to check out Audi Secure. It's supposed to be comparable to BMW Secure.
