![]() Sorry Guys, was very busy for the last 2-3 weeks; didn't get time to log in and check into this post. To be honest, i was expecting a "bolder" design for the new 5-series. I like the F10 but not too much that i would pay an extra 6-7 lacs for it considering a minimum 5-10% premium and the 3.5 lacs discount i'm getting on the current 520d. The good part is that BMW has given me till 15th Jan to decide. BUt I'm still confused. If they offer me a discount of around 5 lacs, i think i'll just go for the current 5-series (sorry S350L-E240, i also want the F10 but am unable to garner the money for it ![]()

![]() If you are looking for 5 lac discount, you might be able to get that much on the 525i. This is a slow mover and BMW is desperate to sell it. But at the end of it, I think the 520d will still work out cheaper. Negotiate on that too and then decide. I have a close friend who tried to do a group buy on the 520d, 15 cars but still the discounts were not 5 lakhs. If you can get a a 2010 mfd @ 3.5L discount then I guess it still is a good deal.

![]() Congrats man, 5 Lac discount on 5 series sounds great! And about the F10, It's ok, you can always swap the E60 for the F10 once it's facelifted after 4 years, Until then enjoy the E60 it's a benchmark on its own!

![]() Hi Guys, I'm picking up my space grey BMW 530d Highline with natural brown interiors tommorow. Got a discount of 5.3Lakhs after some hard negotiating.I was tempted to wait for the F10 but I somehow still love the current model plus the fat discount made the deal even sweeter. It has the new Idrive with the USB interface & I've opted for a space saver tyre as well. I'm really exited & am looking forward to picking it up tommorow. I have also ordered the Bmw Ipod USB cable for full Ipod integration. Cheers. BMW USB iPod Cable

![]() Nice color combo, hope you are switching to regular tubeless since you already got the space saver. The ride quality with 18inchers + RFTs is too harsh, would improve considerably with a nice set of Michelin Primacy HP's or PP2s if you want sportiness. | |

![]() Hi Guys, I picked up my Bimmer yesterday, man what a machine. I find the ride quality actually quite good even with the Runflat Dunlops. It is definitely better than the Skoda Laura that I was drving previously. Anyway the dealer did not agree to buy back the Runflats so I guess I'll stick with them. Here are the pictures.

![]() congrats sandeep ! They got rid of the DVD drive on the highline versions too ! I wonder why they gave it in my 525d back then? Not that I am complaining, I get 4.7gigs of music appendable on one disc so no need for an iPod ![]()

When I burn some music from my iMac using iTunes onto a DVD-RW; it does not work in my 530d highline ( 2008 model - it came with the DVD drive ). It says unsupported disc. How are you ripping the DVD's with music ? | |

![]() The system is DVD compatible,I have watched a movie on it. The soundsystem rocks & the 2 subwoofers under the seats provide decent bass. Now waiting for the ipod cable. eBay India: BMW USB iPod Cable (item 180443080978 end time 18-Dec-2009 16:55:49 IST) Anyone used this cable yet?

![]() Ecclipse:I create a data disc and burn my mp3's on it using nero or burner software of the sorts. Sandeep: My car came with 2 drives on the front panel. Top one is basic CD and below one is DVD. I am not too impressed with the sound system, Mercedes have better bass.
