Used Mercedes 190 E 2.5 L 16 valves

dear all
i have come across a used 1980's benz 190E 2.5 lt 16 valves, petrol car available for sale. party is quoting 3 lakhs. car needs minor repair work like, fixing a few electricals, probably fixing the drive shafts and suspension work. engine looks good. have not driven it as owner is reluctant to take it out as its raining heavily here. owner is about 80 year old and syas, he cannot clean the car nor now adays drive it. he wants to sell and buy a small automatic car. i wish to know,
1. what can be the rate
2. how is the ownership experience with such cars
3. is this expensive to maintain esp with spare parts.
4. any thing i should watch out for in particular
will be much obliged with your feedback

Parts for this model is rare and expensive.As this is a rare model. A great car for high speed runs. Do you have any pictures of the car. Check suspension and steering tie rods and the exhaust manifold. Rear suspension is self levelling and rear struts are expensive. Performance is peaky so may not be ideal in indian traffic. Gearshift is a little clunky and is the dog leg type. Great for high speeds though
