Accent Tornado Exhaust Mods

Hi,

The Exhaust muffler on my Accent Tornado GTX (1.6L) has rusted and sprung a leak. Its already patched up once. BTW, the Accent has clocked 48,000 Kms till date. Now, instead of going in for OEM exhaust muffler, I am planning to go in for Auto Mech Exhaust. I would like to know regarding the performance of the Auto Mech Exhaust system specific to Accent GTX from fellow T-BHPians. Thanks.

Harshavardhan.

Automech Exhausts are really good. MY firend has it on his Honda City and it sounds real sweet.

And get the Sports one from Automech, cuz there is a normal one which won't give u better performance

Harsha, welcome to the forum!

You can either get a full exhuast from the engine all the way to the tailpipe, or just the muffler (cheaper). I would suggest you start by just the aftermarket muffler and upgrage to the full system if you like it.

Automech FF for Accent costs 9K. If you need Steel ones, they'll cost you around 11K. Contact them for a good quote.

Bro, the exhaust has rusted because of the moisture from ur healthy engine on the Mild Steel. Try getting a Stainless Steel headers and freeflow from Psycho since he does things for the love of sport.
