Re: RRP Hyperdrive in a friend's Mitsu Cedia

The guages are costing you a lakh!!!!!!!???? you have to be kidding me!!!!
there are multiple brands that you can opt for at a far far lesser price!!!
if you were in Mumbai i could have sorted you out.

Re: RRP Hyperdrive in a friend's Mitsu Cedia

Defi gauges are expensive but quality. Prosport gauges look pretty identical but quite a bit cheaper. I've got a few gauges on the way for customers. Will upload pics once I have them.

Re: RRP Hyperdrive in a friend's Mitsu Cedia

Any updates on the car?? Any Work in progress pics if you can arrange from RRP ?? When do you expect to get the car back ?? I have heard a lot of good things about the Hyperdrive cedia, should be one fun car to drive. The Teins super street suspension is amazing, I am running the same suspension on my civic and the difference is worth every penny.

Congrats on the build, keep us updated.

Hey everyone

The ECU has been all wired up. I got the rims for the car. The same ones that i posted earlier. Compo CXT 1880 in white. Will get them painted gun metallic once in chandigarh....

M4ugr8 - I am really excited about the TEIN super street suspension in the car. Im really hoping that it is a lot of fun to drive. Suspension work was started yesterday!

Re: RRP Hyperdrive in a friend's Mitsu Cedia

Stick to white rims for a bit & then change them to Gun Metal....2 birds one stone situation !!! The graphite will definately look better. How much did they cost you ? (If you care to share)

Very similar or the same as those on my Swift What tyres did you finally go for ?

P.S. Any pics of the progress on the Cedia build ?? Pics would be nice, maybe even better - a video !!

Cheers

Re: RRP Hyperdrive in a friend's Mitsu Cedia

Correct me if I am wrong but I think you are going for Tacho with shiftlight, boost and voltage gauges, am I right ?
Won't you be needing oil pressure,oil temperature,EGT, AFR ?

Hello all

sorry was away for a few days thats why couldnt update the thread.
The EDFC and the suspension work has been done. ECU is all wired up. Will post pics today evening.

Hey amey, i will be going in for the tacho n the boost only. Do u think i would require the other gauges also? Can you please explain their specific useage. Thanks

Not that it is mandatory but yes it will definitely help to keep a tab on these crucial parameters. It proves helpful if you are tuning the car on your own.
In my opinion, Tacho is useless because the car already has one,so whats the point of having another one ?
This is my personal opinion though.

Re: RRP Hyperdrive in a friend's Mitsu Cedia

Woah Chirag congrats (to U & to your friend) on this project, looks really neat.

I have visitied RRP couple times and know Sangeet pretty well. But had never really got a chance to follow up on any of their projects through its various stages. I guess (and hope) you just keep this thread Hot n Active through every stage for all of us.

ALL THE BEST
