Hey Gaurav,
Thanks for the link mate but I have gone through it quite some time ago. RPW is pretty well known for Mitsu tuning.

Try Speedsport aka Phil, he did my Swift. You can get him on the forum - handle is Speedsport or try his website // Speed Sport . Automotive Engineering Solutions . New Delhi . India //

Hope that helps..looking forward to hearing your impressions of the car as well as seeing some nice pics.

Cheers

Re: RRP Hyperdrive in a friend's Mitsu Cedia

Thanks for sharing the pics man. The garrett intercooler looks great. All I could do was starte at the pics .

Will they get rid of the bumper lower center lining of bumper, one that lies in between the two fog lights, to ensure proper air to the intercooler. It wasnt there in pre 2009 cedias..

Also, as I thought, the front cross is removed and intercooler goes in its place. See thats why extended bumpers have an advantage lolzz..

This is becoming one of my favourite threads, I do have a novice question, doesn't installing an intercooler right in front of the radiator cause trouble in the long run. Sorry for my daft question in advance.

Re: RRP Hyperdrive in a friend's Mitsu Cedia

Hey

No clue about your question. Probably the experts can answer better

Gaurav I have a question. Did RRP NOT cut the lining before 2009 cedias? And yes, i mean i hope they will do it, its quite an essential, isnt it?

Re: RRP Hyperdrive in a friend's Mitsu Cedia

IMHO RRP is well equipped to handle the build, they will do what needs to be done. That indeed is a big intercooler vs the one on my Swift, sitting in front of the radiator, should not hamper the radiators effectiveness. Maybe they are putting in an extra fan, just guessing.

The intercooler in my car is vertically placed on the RHS of the radiator. Seems to be working just fine. My radiator fan is also stock, so far no issues with overheating or any such thing.

The Cedia is going to be one hell of a car !! Thanks for putting up some pics. Keep them coming !!!

Cheers

Cedia/lancer has two fans already. This is the last car you can expect to heat. Also, the way the intercooler is placed, it leaves enough space above it to let air in from the front grill flow on to the condenser and radiator.

For the bumper lining between foglights, it was not there in pre 2009 cedias, removing it shouldn't be a problem. Will make the intercooler much more visible and the car look much more cool.

And then as Ricky said, knowing RRP and cedia's capabilities, heating issues is the last thing to worry about.

You dont need a local dealer man.Just go on Ebay and search for them and you will find tons of dealers there.
I got a few of mine off ebay and the remaining from US.
Purchasing from Ebay is quite easy and helps a lot in sourcing small yet crucial parts.
