Eagerly waiting for the cedia back home. If you don't mind, would love to feel the beast in person.

Re: RRP Hyperdrive in a friend's Mitsu Cedia

Car got into RRP on 26th April evening & leaves with a major surgery & a couple of hundred horses in about 3 weeks !!!

Now THAT is what I would call a thorough professional job !! Kudos to RRP.

Anxiously awaiting the final outcome. Have the tyres been upgraded ??

Cheers

Re: RRP Hyperdrive in a friend's Mitsu Cedia

Hey everyone. Anmol this side with sincere apologies for not updating the thread. Was in bangalore till the 18th. Car is leaving bangalore today. Will take five days to reach chandigarh..

Reached red rooster performance on saturday. The car was almost done up but the most crucial parts were left. The ECU tuning, final setting of the turbo and making of the exhaust.
Till monday the car was being prepared and just before my flight, Mr. Leela took me for a drive in my new baby, and I kid you not, its fast. Bloody fast..

Dyno results for a day before reported 200 whp at 7.5 psi. Since there is no 97 octane available in AND around chandigarh, the boost is set at 14 psi but I am not sure if it was dyno'd or not. I will post the final pictures once the car reached chandigarh which is like 4 days from today.

It was a surprise to see red rooster. The professionalism involved in each and every build of their is amazing. There is NO doubt that red rooster is indeed the best I have been to till now. Its like what you watch on the TV or Discovery Turbo

Mr Leela knows each and every small little detail about what is good for the build, what is required, what is not. The team at RRP is extremely responsible and knows exactly what they are doing.

More than anything else, i am impressed with the quality of the build. The plumbing had been painted to suit the color of the car. Small little details have been taken care of very well....

The first thing i will do is get a 0-100 km/h reading and see how long it does 1/4 mile in

Well here are some pics that i have. Not many though coz i was too involved in the build
and the budget went out of control though!

P.s. DEFI GAUGES ARE AWESOME!

Re: RRP Hyperdrive in a friend's Mitsu Cedia

Thanks for the crisp update, Anmol! Was waiting sincerely for this. Let us know your initial driving impressions as you get hold of the beast! Good pictures, sure I can drool on them for a while! That gauge pic was awesome, all right!

Ready to burn the Chandigarh tarmac, eh!

P.S. Hey, there are two smilies allowed per post! You might wanna take the extra ones off before the mods jump in!

Re: RRP Hyperdrive in a friend's Mitsu Cedia

LOL !! So you could not "resist" the Defi Gauge, could you ?? Now that you have taken a spin in your car, you would know what "flies like" I can well imagine the expression on your face & the thrill in your heart when you set foot into your car, the grin widening with direct proportion to the RPM needle !!! LOL

Looking forward to the final dyno & ofcourse your impressions.

All the best, hope you have great times ahead with your "Stock Cedia" !! LOL keep it that way, do not put on loud stuff on it to give it away. BTW is the exhaust loud ?

Cheers
