Re: 3D KAGU & Other Premium Mats

Has anyone used LetsModify 3D car foot mats?

http://www.snapdeal.com/product/lets...657?pos=34;454

The foot mats appear premium and are priced at par with 3D Kagu Mats. Any review of this product would be welcome.

Re: 3D KAGU & Other Premium Mats

Its a back to back post as there was no reply and can not edit the thread now.

After finding no reviews of LetsModify 3D car foot mats, I searched for the well established Maxspider Kagu 3D mats for XUV. The difference between LetsModify and Maxspider was approx 1K with shipping charges.

Then I homed on to this link of changemytyre.com :-

http://www.changemytyre.com/Accessor...ider-Kagu/3254

At Rs 7062/- it is a good buy and cheapest available anywhere else on net as far as I could search.

Re: 3D KAGU & Other Premium Mats

Guys, I have been going through the thread and seems to me that some of you are paying a little extra for the maxpyder mats.

I got Maxpyder 3D mats put on my CRV for just 6500. The fit is simply perfect. Even the open space between the front two seats and the dashboard has been covered.

Its the best product in terms of quality and fitting as on date. There is no doubt about that. However, the price is slightly on the higher side.

Genuine product will depend on the dealer/shop you choose. There might be spurious products available in market although I have not seen one copying this. Yes, beware that there are other brand Kagu mats than Maxpider 3D.

Thanks Taureanbull..

I have seen the 3M mats and other hand i have 3D Maxpider. Just a bit unsure which one to go for. Points for consideration are:

1. Durability
2. Does the job required
3. Easy to clean
4. Looks
5. Of course value for money

Some advices friends ...

Saw 3D mats for Honda Amaze at the Honda showroom. The finish appeared to be good. Cost was Rs 3500/-, dunno which brand it is.

Re: 3D KAGU & Other Premium Mats

I did some research on the forum and could not find a link for the Maxpider Kagu website. A google search threw up this link, which I think is the real deal. (My assumption and I could be mistaken. Experts can correct me). Website link is http://www.3dfloormat.com/ and this is the source of my information.

Excerpt from the home page is included: "If you're looking for the best Floor Mats money can buy, You've come to the right place! We are the number one retailer for 3D Maxpider Floormats. 3D Maxpider mats come in 2 different types; Kagu, and Classic. Kagu is a carbon fiber embossed pattern which is weatherproof and very easily cleaned. Classic is a soft carpet type. These floormats are not your one size fits all solution, They're custom designed to perfectly hug the contour of your vehicle's floor."

I also chatted to their support team member on the website and a picture / screenshot is included subsequently. The big news is that they claim that they don't have a presence in India. Can anyone else vouch otherwise or provide an authorized dealership or retailer who also provides a warranty?

I am extremely happy with the 3D Maxpider mats. They seem to retain their appearance after so many months of use. N my shoes are never clean since I visit construction sites everday. They are extremely durable and easy to clean. No regrets on the 6500/- I paid for the mats. I havent put 3D mats in the boot and have retained the stock mats. Didnt think they were necessary.

AFAIK there are no authorized dealers in India. However, the product is availble through several online and offline dealers.

The point regarding manufacturing only for american cars is not correct. The mats are available for most of the Indian cars if not all. This product is heavily customised for use in a particular vehicle.

I saw the product available online and offline. My question is around whether it is the real mc'coy. Also, the support team member told me that they did not manufacture for any cars apart from American ones. See screenshot in my original post. My question is again as to who is the original manufacturer and is there a manufacturer website? I haven't been able to locate one as yet despite intense searches and grueling sessions with a number of motor heads!

Looks awesome - what a snug fit! Where in Bangalore can I get these? Any idea, if these are already available for the 2014 Honda City?

Re: 3D KAGU & Other Premium Mats

These are car mats by company Star Mats which is supplied by Sai Mag Wheels, New Delhi.

My requirements were mats that are light and thin with easy cleaning along with no issues when in rainy season with wet shoes. I had placed an order for it online at 16:00 and the delivery was done by 11am next day! I was Now that's some high speed delivery!

There are two colours to choose from:

1) Beige
2) Black

Since my car is all-black, I chose black obviously! Paid INR 2800 for the mats that come in 5 pieces:
  • 1 Driver side
  • 1 passenger side
  • 1 Rear passenger (Behind drivers seat)
  • 1 Rear passenger (Behind passengers seat)
  • 1 Transmission hump (between the two rear seat recess)

Post No.: 178, has the pictures too.

Hi vsrivatsa! Yes I got them from Bangalore itself. You should visit Hot Tracks on Victoria road (the stretch leading to old lifestyle and richmond road, right after the tank on old airport road). He is an authorised dealer and manufactures them at one of his facilities. Worth every penny despite the high price.

Re: 3D KAGU & Other Premium Mats

Well, I recently took delivery of my new love and I had her shod with the 3M mats after much to and fro between 3D Kagu and the 3M Nomad. I tested both and my hypothesis is that the 3M mats are better from a functionality perspective. They absorb everything which you throw on it whereas the 3D mats look better cosmetically. I have visited 3M twice since I got delivery of my car and service has been top notch. I met Anurag and Naresh who have been mentioned on the forum and the blue Vento and the white Civic were mentioned as regulars. If you want form and function over aesthetics, the 3M Nomad mats are far better! I will post pictures when I post an ownership review.

Note: I am in no way affiliated with 3 M.
