Had already bought a set of black mats before you posted this. And yes. You are right about the black ones showing all the dirt.

These are some new kind of mats which I have bought.
They're double layered and they hold the dirt well with the carpet absolutely clean.
They stick to the carpet using a Velcro layer all around their border.
Best part was they were available specific for the Storme including the rear boot mat. I really like these mats. Give a nice feel to the cabin.

Customized options are available. You can have the border in Red or Yellow if one fancies.

This pic shows the two parts. The upper part is perforated and the lower acts as a collection tray. Held together by Velcro.

They're not by Kagu. They're some Indian brand and going by the quick turnaround time even for customisation I bet it's somewhere near. Most of the luxury cars around are being fitted with the same mats. Pics don't do justice. They really look good inside the vehicles. From Audis to Thars.

Cost me 5K for the whole set including the boot mat.

And ownership report is coming up and then hopefully the travelogue too.

I am planning to get some thing for my Vento
Did this query get answered?

I am still keen to know the difference, between 3D Kagu, and the 5D Coozo.

The 3D kagu, from the images looks much better, but the 5D is significantly cheaper?

any thoughts?

Cheap and fast is not reliable
Fast & reliable is not cheap
Reliable & cheap is not fast.

Same should be applying here as well. Personally, am using it in 3 cars. Yeti is at 1,15,000kms, Mats have soiled but have't given away.
Fortuner 4X4 for 32,000kms

And I have just put them in the 4WD Scorpio. But as per past impressions, should be holding good. No idea about 5D, sorry.

Please suggest a good mat for my E250 which can be used in all weather conditions. In 3D kagu mats, is there any particular type which I need to look at? What is the difference between 3D/4D/5D mats?

Re: 3D KAGU & Other Premium Mats

Nidhin,
I recommend the Mercedes all-weather mats. I've had them on my w204 C-class and loved them. Cannot find them stoked for the w211. But, they are still available for the w212.

I bought the Kagu 3D mats for my CRV from http://www.autofresh.in/. They are quite good in their service and prompt delivery.

Re: Accessories First, Car Next!

History repeats itself. I'm getting my car tomorrow and I have paid for the mats and seats covers and brought the mats home.
Picked up Beige Coloured Set for my Honda City from Jeewajee. It costed me Rs.6000. The online price was 5900, I thought the Hundred Rupees dint matter.

My XUV500 W8 FWD Opulent Purple is scheduled to be delivered on or before 30 December 2013. Since I already got the maximum cash discount, my XUV500 won't come with accessories. I wish that my XUV500 should have the mats right from the day-one. So, today I bought 3D Maxpider mats costing Rs 7,950 from Privilege motomall, Chennai as I am fully satisfied with performance of 3D Kagu mats in my Linea for more than 3 years. The new mats have anti-skid Velcro-like fibre at their base unlike the old ones. I bought the old ones for Rs 4,500 in October 2010 from Hot Tracks, Bangalore. Hot Tracks also quoted the same price as charged by Privilege motomall. Here are some photographs.

Re: 3D KAGU & Other Premium Mats

My cousin wants to have these installed in his Ertiga but he is confused between 5d/3d with regards to cost and long term reliability. Any pointers?

Re: 3D KAGU & Other Premium Mats

For people who have owned these mats - whats the durability of the Coozo 3D and 5D mats? Any ownership report on how long these last?

Not these 2 Brands but I bought a set of 3D mats from www.carmatsindia.com soon after I bought the Ertiga and these mats have lasted really well even after driving for 100,000 kms.

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/long-t...ml#post3886818

In fact, Ignoring the durability of all the other mats here, the driver side mat also has shown zero signs of wear or impressions driving with Formal foot wear to work on weekdays.

The condition that you see in the above post and what they are today remain unchanged.

Re: 3D KAGU & Other Premium Mats

Hi,

Has anybody tried the Beige mats in a car that has black interiors? Do they look fine or out of place?

I am thinking Beige will make my car look roomier but my Punto has black interiors and grey seat covers.

Also, the Fiat branded mats cost INR 1450 so are these Mats worth the premium? The Fiat mats are all rubber.
