My Nissan 300ZX!

Finally after all these years i bit the dust and bought myself my 1st factory 300 horse power car

Car was bought immaculate, previous owner 'babyed' it to the core. Was a full option car, not the longer wheel base 2+2, with bose audio package, climate control , tan interior .

Drove it back on a 2900km journey and had a lot of fun driving it back.

Setting the cruize control and clocking good speeds on the bombay-pune expressway was an experience..

It took great self control to not go down the 'lets go faster route, but then one moment of weakness took care of that.

* Plug and play standalone from AEM is on its way.
* Full exhaust system from Billy Boat is on its way.
* Turbo Smart Boost controller on its way.
* Intercooler spray kit ordered.

this should get it going faster for more we'll think about it later ...

Re: Nissan 300ZX

Let me be the first to congrats you. This is one superbly preworshipped car you have managed to get hold of.

You can't keep even a 300 Bhp car stock, so what kind of number we will be looking at after the above mentioned mods?

Re: Nissan 300ZX

Congratulations, speedsport.....Immac....!!!

Three very important questions...

A) This is the Euro-spec LHD; wasn't a RHD VQ 30 available?
B) If you don't mind of course, how much did she set you back by?
C) The contact from whom you got her... In future, might need a RWD...!

Wow,she looks,as if she rolled off the assembly line.
Cruise control at 180,sounds yummy, and that too in a LHD car

If the car completed a 3,000 km trip without any issue, well, I can say you've gotten a great example. What better test for a car.

Is it limited to 180 kph?

Congrats again & drive safe. Look forward to the mods. How about taking her to the dyno before / after each mod?

Re: My Nissan 300ZX!

Wow!. The car looks squeaky clean. Lucky you! I remember that I liked cars with this sort of headlights most, when I was a kid. I loved the way water splash when I would run my little fast and streamlined cars over water. .

btw, what gains can be expected out of an Intercooler spray kit?

Re: My Nissan 300ZX!

why does everyone want to know the price ?

@dhaushs - when you run more boost then intercooler spray helps in keeping things cool, specially in delhi.

@venon - it was offered to me someone (cant remember) . its a known car in bombay. if i can remember i'll pm you .

@Mpower - yes twin turbo manual , Ttop.

best thing about it is that its so driveable... the ground clearence is so useable, surprizes you with the things it goes over without scrapping.

Re: My Nissan 300ZX!

Is it an aftermarket exhaust? The OEM had quad tips. (two duals left and right)

Spent my college days drooling over these things. Friend later owned a silver color NA model with Ttops.
