My i20 - 'Angel' with minor modifications

Here is my i20 - 'Angel' with minor modifications. Hope you all like it.

I am looking for suggestions for mounting of the DRL's at a better location. Photoshop experts, if you can help me with the placement? I would be thankful to you.

When di you get this?? Nice though. The DRL may not go anywhere else as you would have to cut the bumper etc.

Re: My i20 - 'Angel' with minor modifications

@Cyrus: Its been a year now that the angel is resting in my garage. I am enjoying every bit of it. No more custom exhaust and blarring music system. I have only added a 2 channel JVC DRVN series amplifier and a 1000 watts subwoofer for the depth.

The headunit and speakers are the same (factory fitted). Better pics to follow soon. My cam needs to get used to the brightness of the HID's though.

So you have finally grown up eh!! I didnt know of the car btw. Nice to know. Also, I have similar DRLs lying at home that i need to install. Question: is the DRL on a separate switch?

Yup. Finally I have realised my age .

The DRL's have been made to work on the first switch 'ON' of the headlight sequence. Basically when you just give the first twist to the headlight switch.

Nice one there Niki. Can you share the details of the HIDs? The DRLs looks fine in that position. BTW, do you have projectors or just HIDs? Cant make it out in the pic.

Also where did you get it installed from at Vikhroli? I am looking at a good and fair accessory shop and a reliable mechanic/garage around Vikhroli.

@niki

All I can say is fantastic lights, they are simply wow. The projection area is quite good.

How much did it cost you? Any changes to the wiring too?

@naveen.raju: Thanks for the compliments. These are local brand HID's and have fitted them in the original headlight cluster. I wanted to get projectors, but have kept the idea on hold for sometime.

@sagarpadaki: These are local branded HID's and come with 6 months warranty and are bright. I got them from a friend who runs an Accessory shop in Mumbai and is also into custom Audio Solutions and Body Kits. I have paid Rs:12000 (headlight and fog lamps with installation - only HID's. DRL's are for Rs:3000 with installation).

@kalpeshc: I have got these HID's installed by my friend who runs an accessory shop at Mulund. Good deal for HID's + DRL's (Rs:15000 + installation). I will be visiting him on Saturday / Sunday. If you want to join please check your Team-BHP inbox for my number and timing.

@ghodlur: Thanks for the WOW. It really matters ya. I completely agree with the projection area. But the truth will remain about this setup being blinding for the oncoming traffic. Will move to a projector setup soon. There were no additional changes made to the wiring except for the wiring kit which came along with the kit.

PS: Will post some more pics of the ride as soon as I get some time with the car and my new cam.
