Re: Contessa story from Thrissur. My muscle car!

Man that brings back the infatuation back in childhood I had for the Conti. Its surely gets me too drooling over it.

2nd tails looking great. 1st is bit out of place with the unnecessary and unshapely chrome etc.

Why not get the original back in place including bumbers?

Also would have suggested to keep color White as it is maybe with Rich Red Sporty designs on side and bonnet OR Fully Sporty Yellow.

I would say a couple more lights will be even better at the rear. I liked the last design.

If you were to squint a bit, the second option resembles the front face of a Chevrolet Corvair, see the picture below. That was rear engined!! 1st picture taken from the net, second from t-bhp.

They are actually the tail lights of a Dodge Charger R/T.

Re: Contessa story from Thrissur. My muscle car!

Looks like a project to look out for. Do keep us posted.

Just my two cents: Please don't go in for M800/Omni type side repeaters, pretty please. At least, that's what I think you have planned, going by the size of the cutouts on the fender. Try to source something a bit retro, maybe the pointed ones from the 1st gen Palio?

Re: Contessa story from Thrissur. My muscle car!

What many have in their dreams and visions, you are executing.

I am very keen on seeing how this car turns out. This is a great build, and please do keep it as simple as possible, witout anything overdone. The wheels look great and I am sure they contibute a great deal to the overall weight of the car, but I hope you are planning performance mods as well.

For bumpers, keep those simple flat chrome type bumpers or you can probably do away with it also, like the rear of a modern Dodge Challenger. As for the rear lights, the one in post 19 looks the best so far, or you can try something similar in terms of dimensions

Colour choice: Gun Metal Grey, Black, Black with a Matte black / grey / silver decal work combo. These are just some of my favourites

All the best

If you see this post -> http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/collec...-jobs-785.html , there is a really well modded contessa, with tail lights from Tata Sumo. Check it out!
