Sorry for the poor quality of the pic, taken from my humble mobile. Anyways, will try to get a better pic next time. He changed the alloy wheels last week. BTW, no problem in revealing number plate, got permission from the owner.
I recently installed those BMW+Audi style headlights.
Although the looks of my car have been enhanced manyfolds, however the vision especially the upper beam has not been satisfactory.
Can you post pictures of the throw of light on a wall with lower and upper beam.

Re: Chevy Cruze mods

Anyone tried this automatic boot opener? I am sick and tired of security guards either unable to figure out how to open my Cruze's boot, or yanking open the bootlid without adequately pressing the damn switch!

http://www.ebay.in/itm/CRUZE-Truck-B...item35d11d1f60

Bit pricey at INR 1,400 for what is essentially an adjustable spring though. Reverse-engineering
:-) seems to be an option!

Re: Chevy Cruze mods

I need advice from someone in the know on this matter --> I'm planning to buy aftermarket Headlamps & Taillamps off eBay.

Headlamp - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tchlink:top:en

Taillamp - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fits-11-14-C...03530500&rt=nc

Can anyone knowledgeable in Customs & import tax guide me as to how much will Indian Customs ask me to pay up in Tax IF & when these products arrive on Indian shores?

Also, for the technically well versed members, will these mods indeed be a plug & play replacement for the currect stock Cruze lamps or will I have to improvise on the installation when I get them fitted at the local accessory shop?

Cheers

Re: Chevy Cruze mods

Hi, your tail-lights look like a simple PnP job but am unsure about the beam pattern for the headlights. If these are LHD-specific, you may find that the beam pattern/cut-off is also LHD, and will trouble other drivers plus obviously dissatisfy you.

Maybe query the seller on this specific issue?

Re: Chevy Cruze mods

Silly question, and I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but does anyone have a clue if the new 2014 Cruze's bumper, will fit on the older Cruze?

The dimensions and everything seem to same, so yeah. What do you guys think?

Re: Chevy Cruze mods

Only the authorized workshop guys from the body work section can answer this question. There are multiple mounting points so if even one has been modified, the plug and play will not work.

Let us know!

Re: Chevy Cruze mods

I have a cruze and last week i broke my tail lamp housing - the red plastic part - the white interior seal is intact and lamp is working. The mechanic says the entire assembly is to be replaced. Is there aftermarket "smoked glass" OR "LED Mercedes look" tail lamp vendors available in chennai and what is the approximate cost ?? Thanks in Advance
