The vinyl costs Rs:352 per square feet. I got this done at 3M Car Care,chennai.

Can you please tell me which 3M Car care? is it the one in Nungambakkam or the one near marina beach? I do not want my car's hood stickered but just want 2 sq ft for that I can stick them to my interior to match the interior styling kit.

For the bonnet, it costed me rs:5000 something.

I had got a quote of 1800 for my Jazz's hood from one of the local accessories shop owner, but then he did not have the vinyl in stock and told he would call me whenever it comes and never called me back! I had been to 3M care here in bangalore but they said they dont have this service.
BTW still waiting for pictures.

These stickers expand on little heat and then solidifies . I'm not sure how long this will stick on the hood of a diesel car where heat is too much and I suspect the edges will come off sooner.

What if the vinyl is removed? Would it affect the bonnet paint and it's texture? Can the vinyl withstand rough weather etc.?

Zilch effect on the paint and if removed correctly by mildly heating the vinyl it peels off like a dream.Even simpler is to drive the car for a few kms come back and the bonnet lid should have gotten warmer, peel it then. No idea of the other brands, but 3M vinyls doesn't leave any residue.

Dont know about the price. But the 3m store had three different qualities of cf vinyl . First one was some 180 something, second one was around 250 and the third one was the highest (352).

And YES, it took 15 sq feet to to cover it fully.
