where have you placed the transmitter? also what all do you transmit and how? can you please explain the setup, requirements and costs associated?

Re: Project Grande Punto Sporte

I have not yet completed the ham installation and my knowledge is limited to the technical set up and requirements which i have entrusted with a specialist in ham installation. I shall post the same once i am finished with it. As of now the antenna works only on aesthetics.
The link attached could partially answer your queries HAM RADIO - AMATEUR RADIO - HAM RADIO INFORMATION, LICENSE INFO!, PLANS - PROJECTS

Re: Project Grande Punto Sporte

Cleanly done up mods I must say Your GP looks very unique.
I am particularly interested in the below mods and would like to get them done for my Pegasus (GP 90HP) as well. It would give me a good idea if you could let me know how much each one costed.
  • Matte Black coat for the Headlamp and fog lamp enclosure
  • Sparco sport pedals
  • ICE (break up of each item if you can)

-Thanks in advance

Re: Project Grande Punto Sporte

That's one nicely done GP
Pics doesn't seem to do full justice to mods done. I'm sure it looks much much better in person than what it in pics.

I was thinking which other alloys would suite the GP and looking at your car I think I got the answer

Yeah, the antenna thing looks weird.

How about more clear pics of the interiors? Specially the drivers seat, gear knob and hand brake?

The pictures had to be stripped of their resolution to be uploaded. Moreover it was taken in a hurry as soon as i got the car back with a AW100 Nikon. A detailed photo shoot with a SLR will be done soon. I shall update you once i am done with it.

Re: Project Grande Punto Sporte

Very nice mods. The wheels look great. If possible, remove the chrome grabs on the door handle. Wonder why Fiat puts it in the 90HP. Looks very out of place.

And more pictures pls.

A nice looking car. I loved the 17" wheels.

What did you do the headlights to blacken them?

The antenna comes with a base and its where you mount it. It can be removed and the base will be left there.

I opened it and painted it with Dupont matte.
