Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Hi all, i just recently modded my BMW E90 320D LCI (Dynamic Edition) with a racechip for engine boost to 230bhp, Performance Edition Kit parts from Taiwan Ebay (inspiration from BMW India's advert of the Performance Edition, ), CF wrapping by 3M Santhome on the roof, rear view mirrors, performance edition parts and black matte wrapping on all chrome parts. The results looks great and took the car out last night to show my friends and they loved the look,

It sure looks great. I suggest you paint the roof and mirrors gloss black, it looks nice than matte since the rest of your car is glossy too. Check out my car, have done similar things to it.

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Thank you Akshay. Yes, i have read your thread on your car and that's what inspired me to mod out my car as well. I did a bit of research and decided to just go ahead with the replica parts as they didn't cost much and the car roof and mirrors are wrapped in 3M Carbon Fiber wrap, it didn't show on the Iphone pics, so did a few closeups just now to showcase it. In the night the car looks really nice with the Titanium Silver paint and CF wrapped parts. The interiors are also in black so it really goes with the overall color scheme of the car,
I didn't want to use any repaint as incase i upgrade to a new car after a couple of years, i got the option to remove all wraps and just sell as stock with original body paint, original kidney grills and chrome parts, just like from showroom,

Hi all, Lowering seems to be a obsession rather than a need in mod's own country!!

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Tips on enhancing the e90

1) debadge, if not already
2) slight blackout on the front, and possible install LED halos or if possible the Adap xenons
2a) I know someone whose done mod where the slotted sections of the indicator was painted on the anterior surface with either the m colors or just blacked out. It would really set it up well
3) try to procure 225M wheels with either 18 or 19 wheels

Sure no probs, the total cf wrap costs worked out to Rs.15,000 approx.

Thanks for the tips 56landmaster, if you notice i liked the 320d badge in matte black wrap, just gives it a different look from the original chrome.
Debadging is only done to hide your car engine details, i have no issue with it,
Akshay1234 has done a good setup on his E90 headlights, so that might be my next mod.
The way the roads are in Chennai and Bangalore, i'm ok with my current setup on wheels, i might upgrade to a set of 17 inch BBS wheels next year if i get bored of the current setup,

My 2009 Fiesta with some subtle mods. Trying to source a Boot Lip Spoiler (Not the 1.6S one) for long. Can someone suggest a shop? Thanks.

Lovely colour, lovely alloys, and very rarely do I say this, but those aftermarket off-the-shelf DRLs actually suit the car As for a lip spoiler, you could try having one fabricated sorry I don't know any places in Tamil Nadu though. Oh and being the deep purple shade it is, might I advocate smoking the red area of the tail-lamps A gloss black wrap for the roof would serve this car well too

Cheers!
