The steel rims are real head-turners - do post some info on them & tyres too.
Would love to know more about her under bonnet contents and some info on that skirting, looks pretty neat.

Regards-Sonu

Thanks, Sonu.

The steel rims are popularly known as "off-road steel rims" (-30 offset, 8J, IIRC). I bought them new at Rs. 20k for a set of 5 from a Facebook contact. The tyres are Maxxis Bighorn 762 MTs 235/75-R15, which I bought from the same person at Rs. 7k per tyre.

The colour of the car is the Hyundai's new 'Pristine Blue'. HT was opted due to the practicality appeal, but I had it painted matte black so that it looks a bit understated, yet offers contrast to the car's colour.

Under hood, its absolute stock - except for an upsized radiator. I had the entire engine work done a couple of weeks back.

The "skirting" you enquired about is an OE plastic cladding.

She's beautiful! Loved the second picture.

Like it has been said above, subtlety does it. Overdoing it messes it up.

Insane! But how did they manage to get it registered as a private vehicle? Wouldn't it's payload capacity exceed the passenger load capacity?

And are those earlier gen Fortuner wheels?

There was one under renovation here as well, but no activity on the thread for some time now. http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/4x4-ve...-1-ton-24.html

I have seen this mental Gypsy doing the round around my house, and it sounds dastardly! Hands down, the best sounding modded 4-pot car ever! I'm sure it woke the dead as it flew down the service road next to the Indiranagar-CMH Road cemetery!

Thanks.

Mods done.
Matte paint.
32" MT tyres + Steel wheels.
Body mod to fit tyres.
Steel bumper.
Currently making a rear swing out tyre carrier.

(needs roof carrier, steps & full glossy black paint, few more lights)

Modified at a local body shop as i wanted it.

Only spent on tryes+wheels.

Body shop guy is not accepting money, says he will tell the amount only after full work is done. (we are good friends now)

As they say.
Built not Bought.

Is it equipped with a 7.62 mm machine gun? Your Xenon looks like it belongs to the armed forces!
