+1 Fiat could not capitalize the demand in India. I think initial booking numbers were around 250000 for the UNO.

Very clean mods, but if I were to do it, I'd have made it resemble the '69 Skyline GT-R. Like this:

I'm sorry guys I don't have too much information about the details of the NE. Was forwarded to me by a fellow petrolhead & classic lover!

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Hey Everyone,

I came across this page on Facebook called 'MB design Mototrendz'. They have a few tastefully modified ones but this Brio Post caught my eye

Any pictures of these? Seems tasteful! I've seen pictures of the GTS with the Prior wide body kit. Looks mean!

Does look to be the one from the 369 garage. Here's the link to a pic which was shared by DQ himself on Facebook.

One of the most attractive mods I have ever seen! Can we have the privilege to look at the interior portion as well sir?

I agree, but maybe think like a 20 year old? That would be hot in north camous DU.
For older folks, if it was the Crio , and without the graffiti, perhaps. Too loud as it is now though.

That's a great looking first-gen Ecosport, Shubrah!!

Lucky you managed to get those smokin' hot 17" rims. Was it from the dealership or friendly tyre shop?

Can you share some lighting pics in the Lighting thread for the benefit of other aspiring mod candidates

Thanks

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Thank you Arjun. Very kind of you. The interior doesn't have as much work done as the exterior. I'm mulling over a full black conversion, but not a priority.

You'll have to excuse the dirt.

thank you for the kind words, good sir.

the wheels, along with the necessary accessories, were purchased brand new from the dealership itself, as i’m not a fan of using pre-owned wheels.
since they’re the first set that were bought individually in the country, finding the correct part number was a lot of trouble due to the immediate discontinuation of these particular wheels.

i’ll surely upload some pictures of the light output in the correct thread.

Pleasure yes, the rear is primarily for storage. Though I have an inflatable mattress that fits with the rear gate open. For camping trips when I'm lazy to set the tent up.

In other news, finally installed the underbody bash plates. I'm not sure of the color yet. Maybe I'll keep it this way, maybe red or maybe just black that out as well.

The truck has accumulated a ton of dust as I gave up cleaning it over the lockdown. Will need to sit down with a jopasu and a bucket of water sometime soon. The tyres need to be cleaned properly. Somehow, for me, dirty tyres are a bigger no no than a dirty car. Spent some time cleaning all the glass last night.

I miss my roofrack (see below) It's at my friend's factory undergoing some mods. Should be back soon. It's a completely custom heavy duty unit that I designed to incorporate the best features of all my favorite racks. Built with love by the master craftsman Pradeep of PRAD customs.

I also wanted to leave this pic here:

PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India-raptor-shadow-warrior.jpg

This FJ, aptly named the RAPTOR, used to be owned by a friend who is unfortunately no longer with us; was the one that made me fall in love with an overlander. Way back in 2007, I used to follow his mod thread so closely over on fjcruiserforums (pics broken there now, linking tacomaworld thread) wondering when I would be able to build something similar.

To this day, every mod I do, is inspired by this vehicle. I hope I can inspire someone the same way someday. Will most probably be my son
