Totally agree. If we had a 'Minority Report' kind of law, the owner should be arrested for 'Precrime' that is, they have this illegible number plates so as to commit a crime and run.

But then there are worse number plates on the road and the Police just care a damn about it. People are ignorant too as here in a reputed Soft company, when I confronted a local colleague for having his number plate **only** in Kannada, he argued endlessly that the state laws allows it (my foot!). Same goes for many Hindi no plates I have seen in Delhi and smaller Northern India towns.

It is time Supreme Court starts sending contempt of court orders to all state Transport officers and Traffic Chiefs for not strongly implementing the standard pre-fab Number plates they made mandatory for vehicles, having a fixed size and font of the plates.
But was I say, all is well in a Banana Republic like ours.

Tell your friend to remove those plates and get HSRPs installed. They would look equally nice and would hardly invite any problems. The rear plate looks too awkward to me, maybe because I have seen something like this for the first time!
The Cruze is very nicely and neatly modified by your friend! Cheers, I appreciate his spirits.
The dual projectors look very cool and upmarket, with the rear LED lamps completing the look. The alloys could have been better, although the black finish on these OEM is not bad. If he has more Vitamin M, then suggest him to get a set of matte black alloys of a bigger size and with wider tyres.

+ 1

Even though the owner has put his effort to make the Cruze stand out, the out come will surely attract traffic cops to it. Its purely illegal I think, especially the rear number plate.

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Wow i never thought a logan could look so cool! Really love whats been done to it.

Im still amazed by what a Bangalore Airport taxi could look like without the meru or other taxi stickers on it. Im sorry im not trying to be rude or anything but iv always seen the logan as being a " taxi " kind of car because of all these cars in Bangalore!!

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

This front tow hook or whatever you call it, is becoming very popular especially in Kerela, i have seen it in many modified cars in kerela when i went there recently. Do they work or they just there to add to the look?

I hope the repeated requirement to use it is not the reason for it becoming so popular just kidding.

The modified Logan looks good but I am not sure about it's performance on road. Being a Keralite, I am sure it can not be taken to interior roads.
