Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

One of the best Mitsubishi Cedia I have ever seen. By the way last week I had a small trip to Kerala and amazed to see the number of modded vehicles on the road.

We must appreciate the taste of their owners.

The red bar you're looking at is called an Anti-Roll bar (sway bars). They help improve the stability of the vehicle by reducing body roll.

The pipes coming out of the engine looks rusted coz its an aftermarket header made from mild steel.

Ain't Sway Bar (ARB) at the bottom of struts / springs? This would be Top Strut Brace to make the body stiffer.

Cheers,
Ardy

It's called a strut brace, and it's used to increase the overall stiffness of a MacPherson set-up.

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Yes indeed, I need you to say a lot more.

I am very interested to find out how the green filter was accommodated inside the stock air box. I have a K&N kit in my Cedia and have to take off the filter every time I have to clean out the engine bay. The arrangement in your\Manu's ? car seems to be an ideal solution.

I would also like to know the source where the sway bar can be procured from. Thanks in advance for your response(s).

EDIT
I have been trying to source 16" alloys for my Cedia for a long long time but seem to have no luck with the same. For some strange reason a 16" dia, 4 hole 114.3 PCD design does not seem to exist. There are some multi PCD designs available but I am not interested in multi PCDs and even these are rare.

Got to see this Z4 on the kmph homepage. Minimalistic, but done with perfect finesse. Great photography from kmph!
