Thanks, shall convey your comments to the owner.

The car was custom ICE'd by Gunbir and Jasdeep of BBW at Delhi. The owner being such an ICE fanatic went all the way to sending the car to Delhi for the crazy install. That is a fiberglass enclosure.

The thread on the car's ICE made by Anish a few years back.

Those are the stock headlights of the E30. Nothing aftermarket on the headlights.

Thanks, shall convey them to the owner.

I shall click some pictures of the interior and post them when I am back in Calcutta in December. The car is still running on its original set of interiors which is 26 years old.

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

The alloys were really cool, nice color, flared up wheel arches looked nice. I am having mixed opinion about the rear clothhanger.

Sans the spoiler... i think he pulled decently in making it look like the Swift Sport. The body kit looks good and so do the wheels.

I don't doubt that for a second. The car looks absolutely mint. E30s are very rare in India, so to find one so well taken care of clearly demands an applause for the owner.

By far the best car seen on this thread for me. Brilliantly and perfectly done. Not a single place where it seems overdone. Just perfect. Please do share more pictures.

I actually sometimes like that clothes hanger kind of spoiler. But it looks bad on hatchbacks.

I hope this qualifies here

1. Alloys painted in gun metal (Rs 2500/-)
2. Tinted tail lamps and head light (Rs 2500/-)
3. Grill masked (rs 120/-)
4. Logo swapped (rs 247/-)

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Good One. But I would have preferred the tail lamps with minimal tapes.

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Is it allowed to replace the logo? I have seen a Toyota Corolla in Pune with a different logo. The owner of the car runs an small scale industry and he has swapped the Toyota logo with his own company's logo. Need some expert opinion.

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Nice work within a nice budget. IMO the rear logo too should have been replaced with the new one and the rear debadged. The rear steel bar also seems a bit mismatch to the whole 'Gangsta" theme.

Why would you need anyone's permission to replace the logo?

As long you don't paste some logo that is a registered trademark belonging to someone else, I don't think anybody can 'legally' object to removing the logo. The car is your property after all.

Thats a really chic looking Aria there! Alloy painting sounds very cheap for the quality I can guage from the photos. But the two things I feel should have been avoided - the Bulky looking chrome bar behind the rear bumper and the Logo! The Logo, when changed, leads to a confused identity and spoils the mod.

Even if we have some trademarked logo, I dont think that company would spend money on suing us, as there is no point in it frankly
So unless another OEM uses your logo to misguide people, there wont be an issue.
