None taken Pramod! To each his own I would say.

One of the Delhi/NCR chaps commented this to a friend after seeing my car,

"Poori gaadi pe tape chada diya hai bhai ne"

Painting is definitely cheaper but then wraps are temporary. Also, I haven't seen a paint job that gives the same finish as a metal-grey matte finish as I have on my car. There might be a few out there but I am yet to see one in flesh.

The whole body wrap set me back 65K INR and I am told that it is under warranty for a period of 2 years. How long they last beyond the 2 year period remains to be seen.
How good are they in resisting the scratches and minor dents that are very much possible in NCR? We can still do touch-ups on a painted surface but what are the options for wrapped surfaces?

Thanks for the info. I thought that it was a 4X4. Is it still a 2wd or has been converted to 4X4?

Unfortunately, patching it up is the only option. I have seen a handful of wrapped cars with ugly looking patches around the bumper corners!

As far as I understood from the company who did my wrap, if at all a dent or a scratch appears, they will take off the wrap for the affected part and replace it with a new wrap (of the same colour).

I am not sure if this is called Patching but again the quality of the work varies between different professionals.

That's not patching, its complete rewrapping the part. That is the best way to do it (Just like the best practice of repainting the whole part). But what would be the cost involved, lets say to rewrap the bumper alone? Did you enquire about that? I am guessing that the cost might be on the higher side.

Amongst all this, there is one important thing I almost forgot to mention! Boy, your ride looks sweet!

@Shubhendra. Ignore the stupidity! I read it as 2WD armada!

No, i think it belongs to W&W thread
for the extra money which was spent on this, could have just told the sales rep to upgrade to Gi10 (a bone-stock Gi10 looks a million times better than this)

That is one beautiful Ecosport. The alloys and DRL go perfectly well with the car.

The Matte Grey is visible in this picture. In your earlier post it looked more like Matte Black.

Going by the WWF sticker, I sure hope this one's soon to extinct! One for the W&W thread, without a doubt.

Just goes to show that all cars won't necessarily look good by merely adding popular mod trends.

Sorry. My bad. Although the front looks devilish, i really liked its rear.

@mods please move it to the W&W thread if necessary.
