Ironically it was mods like these that made Toyota launch the Hilux Surf which then turned into the 4runner (Prado, GX based) for USA markets and Fortuner (Hilux based) for rest of the world.

While I am a fan of fibreglass canopies on pickups, can't stand ones that have designs that look out of sync with the pickup's design.

A lovely rolling shot of the Invader by the folks at Carformers, Mysore. Exterior, interior, chassis and the rims were painted by them. Extremely happy with their service.

Looks awesome. The Invader has great potential for mods. While I was still in India I searched a lot for good used Invaders but never got lucky. You have a great well kept Invader. Great job

The vehicle in the video IS a genuine urus. I saw his other reels where he's calling a mini cooper as a modified swift and a range rover as a modified maruti brezza. People do anything these days for views on IG

Spotted recently at Thane. Was looking beautiful. However, I am skeptical of the drive over our Indian roads, not just the speed breakers. Would break my heart for this to get scrapped at any point. The efforts or money put in in this is good. Tyres appear to be upsized and suspension seems to be lowered. Rear spoiler is too big for my taste though

Seems like an older first gen S variant as it doesn't have turn indicators on the SVMs
