Exterior mods for Baleno?

Hi,

Who would you recommend in Bangalore to do exterior mods for a Baleno..(if only Autopsyche were not in Delhi, heh) Thinking the front grill needs a lil sprucing..to give it a more sporty look. Would appreciate it if you could pass on the contact details.

Any idea how much it would cost? I mean..is it going to be mucho expensive or reasonable (within 10k)?

Any suggestions on what mods would look good are also welcome. Something preferably not too whacky and suitable for city driving..Would want to scare my family/corporate clients

Cheers
Spyder

P.S: Does anyone know if MUL delivers red (same as the Swift) Balenos as a special order (maybe for an extra cost)? It shouldn't take them much to do that I presume...since they've got their paints and booth..maybe it bothers their assembly line. And IMO nothing like a good factory job.

Don't make it look too jazzy...some simple mods like a good spoiler, better bumpers, a good set of wheel and a nice colour would be very good indeed. Wide body stuff n all won't be that good on the car IMO

SRK Designs!

My design idea for your baleno. (And yes its for Free! )
So you want to get red paint on your baleno right, but keep it blood red and shiny.
Get some great wheels 5/6 spokes in dark shade (get them big in diameter,if you can),
A little dark shade of windows will make a huge difference in the look.
Get your car free of unnecessary chrome.
Get wire mesh job done on front grill and on front bumper (in dark grey or black).
Thats more than ,enough your baleno will look cool in blood red and at the same time those black touches will make it look aggressive.

If you have the cash for extra mods, then go for nice ICE setup.
A small oem type spoiler will be ok.
Side skirts if kept simple will look good, but a car like baleno needs none of this, get the above things and see the difference.PM me your car's pics and i'll give you the design*.

last week or so i had seen a black baleno with a wire meshed grill in greyish silver & it was awsome.tht car also had some blue illumination inside the bonnet which was visible thru the grille though i think it was not neons. nehow the whole think looked cool except for the stock tires they rode on

Also SRk please post ur designs so that we baleno lovers can be part of the fun tooo

RIO/DC might have a distributor in Bangalore for their kits. Check JC road or Hot Tracks.

Now if you want a custom look, from what I heard, its around 30K for a full body kit. (Front bumper, side skirt and Rear bumpers).

Spyder whats your budget?
According to me Baleno has simple looks and to enhance it you do not need kits, cars like these just need a good paintjob, great wheels, thats enough.
I have seen some pics of modded Baleno's,but they dont look good to me.
If you are going for kits, keep them simple, not too jazzy.
I'll work on the design for baleno(for all you baleno lovers!!)

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Keep them coming.

SRK u're idea sounds good. Had similar plans myself..keep it simple and classy. Not a big fan of sun film..but willing to try a light tint to improve the looks. Love neon and planning to put some under the front seat.

Hmm..bonnet neons thru the grill is a good idea too..why not :-)

As for budget..a range of 15 to 30k is what i have in mind..the lower the better. Side skirts def look cool and add that lil touch of sportiness.

Want to focus on the front..maybe redo the bumper and grill..looks too sedate now. and yes OEM spoiler should look good. Unfortunately, thanks to the great 'roads' in Blore, can't afford to keep near ground level mods since they'll get scraped.

Not sure if red will be available, unless its an post factory job at a local booth..being a new car wouldn't want to do that pronto, heh. Wonder how Silver would look..may look sleek..what say?

Not a big fan of standard body kits..think they look too common and boring..unless its a really nice design. Anybody knows if DC is here? No offence meant..but some of his designs are too whacky for me.

SRK..could you work on some designs..will give u a break from CET preps Think of something for the Silver/Black/Beam Blue Baleno's..If u're designs prove a hit..then u're on your way to the Autocar-design contests! :-)

Cheers

Thanks,I needed some one to give me break, now I can design as you have given me the details you want.
I think the company wont offer a red paint to you as it will affect their assembly line. But you can get it done from some professional.
I say go for silver or black.
Silver be cool to mod.
You can have blue neons and nice decent kit.Same for black.
Please get the biggest and most comfortable wheels,5/6spokes will be fine.
Will post you the designs on this page.

THanks SRK. Much appreciate it..

Silver is what its probably going to be..cos Black is too high maintenance for me. Now the choice between two Silvers heh.

Cheers

Good Work

The blue baleno looks hot. Somehow the red not so much.

and for being straight.
1)put in a racier alloy pattern(current ones are too staid).
2)maybe a big suzuki logo(like in the swift).
3) bring the fog lights a little closer. They seem out of line of the headlights.

A REQUEST.
try and mod up the car from a view of the rear. I'm sure a lot of people would be interested. Right?

Keep the goodwork coming.

PS: the silver one didnt show up earlier. It also looks good
