2. Once the box is detached, will the scans at A$$ find out whether a box was connected at any point of time?
Single channel DTs have 3 primary maps, 1 each for E, P1 and P2.

No, scans cannot trace the usage of DT.

The dual channel version will not be available for the Figo/Fiesta
When can we all expect the dual channel box to be launched. I am eagerly waiting for this to be fixed in my Linea.
Secondly, can the members of this forum expect some sort of discount from your side.
Waiting for your response.

Note from Moderator: Request all to refrain from discussing discounts for single or bulk purchases on the forum.

This thread is meant to understand the technical details of Racedyamics Box. Pricing negotiations or discount requests should be kept off the forum. Thanks for your understanding.

Hello RD,
I had asked a query earlier, but I guess you missed it.I own an SX4 D & Etios D. I have 3 queries.

- Do I need to buy 2 boxes or will 1 suffice?
- Is the upcoming dual channel box compatible with both Etios & SX4?
- When will they be launched & it's tentative price?

Hoping for an early reply!!

EDIT - Rated this thread a well deserved 5 stars !!
Regards,
Varun Nair

Hello,

While the connectors are the same for both cars, you would need to get two if you were to use them simultaneously.

Dual channel will be compatible with the SX4, not the Etios.

Thank you for the rating!

Re: Racedynamics: DieselTronic Tuning Box

Had a chat with Mr.Binoy from RD . Had called them up to clarify a few doubts since i am planning to buy one for my i20. Got a info from him that the Dual channel box will be available for the i20 too! This is really good news for the i20 owners. Now they can have best of both worlds!

Old vs New DieselTronic Tuning Box

hello RD
Does this new duel channel box will work with 2012 Fortuner and 2013 8-speed Audi Q7 3.0tdi ? as i m using older version of DieselTronics working on Fortuner working very good. If yes then what would be changes in power and FE?

Hello,

the Fortuner is only compatible with a single channel box. Dual channel is applicable for the the 3.0tdi Q7 - it will be available down the line and not immediately.

I think its not released yet. RD can answer better as to when it'll come out

They were kind to let me use their test box for a few weeks.

Hi Sommos, for now we will be supporting the Linea and Punto 90hp. The box for the Cruze should be hitting the market end March/early April. Beyond that we will introduce units for the other supported vehicles in a phased manner.

The dual channel version has an Mrp of Rs. 26,000/-
