I can donate a pair of BMW taillights if some one wants to graft it into their Baleno.

SRK , use google images and type suzuki baleno .. U will find plenty of good high resolution pics ..__________________
No, google does have some pics but they are not that good enough, also I need some rear pics.

Guys,I sketched a design for the rear of baleno,I got some new taillamps, new tailgate, also a new bumper.(Looks good)
But then as you move from rear to the front you have the same old front end.
So I think lets keep the same shape of the light and just give a new LED setup. What do you guys think?
I have some more ideasbut I'll implement them in my design!

But I think many members want to get a new look and you cannot donate to everyone, right????
But thats a great idea. For how much can we get these lights?

Also if the designs are good enough to be made permanent can anyone get them to Suzuki???

I cobbled this together in about ten minutes, its not up to my usual quality, I know.

Rear lights inspired (obviously) by the cat's ears rear lights of the Jaguar XJ series.

What do you guys think?

Ill try to make a more detailed transformation later.

Cheers,
Islero

Islero, for a draft, this looks great.....looks like a minor change but the effect is amazing.

BTW, for a change like this I assume we need to get new taillamps, and what would be approx cost of the sheet metal work/painting involved?

Hi Guys,

I found the rear photo at islandman's gallery and i have taken a shot(very poor though) at it based on islero's jaguar type of light. [ this i want to propose a low cost improvement, just with paint job and nothing else may be 1k to 2k ] I request the photoshop experts like SRK to give a professional version of this !!

I dont think that this work will only require a paint job.because the boot lid is still at the old place.we would need metal work ro make part of the boot lid to cover a part of tail light.

Baleno

Hey guys,

this group of auto maniacs sure are lovers of the baleno. I am actually considering buying a baleno after this ;-).

But the OEM tyres are too skinny. Any suggestions on the perfect tyre size which will not alter the warranty??

Note from moderator - Please familiarize yourself with the announcements section.
Please do not go off topic on threads, There are several threads on the baleno tire upgrade. Do a search for "baleno" in the tire & wheel section.

I thinks this is not too simple.
1st we need to find those type of lights. The closest to these are those of lancer, accent, ikon and indigo.
If we dont want to go for them then we need to produce our own light and it wont be easy ,untill they are produced in large nos.
And if we only increase the metal work.I mean those done to give bad boy effect, though it will be less expensive but I think there will always be a fear of cracking the taillights.

Yes i think thats much better.
Heres what we can do.
Get a transparent covering made.Design a LED setup. Get it fabricated.and we have a new looking sporty taillight.
I have some more simple but very effective idea which I'll give in my design.
In my design I am talking about fit and finish with minimum expense.

So what you guys say??
I'll give my design after sometime, hope you can wait
