In Gujarat, the practice is to put yellow stickers on the right hand side (from the perspective - sitting in the car) of the right headlamp. And the sticker is stuck as a vertical strip.

Is this black circular sticker rule still in place ? Asking because I don't see them on most of the cars here, especially the newer ones. So, wondering whether I can go ahead and remove them from our cars ? Or will I be challaned by the cops ?

And as kb100 mentioned, since the newer lamps come with that tip in front, is this really required ?

@risga, yes, our GJ registered M800 came with that yellow sticker (or is it paint?) but over the years, it just got worn out and now has completely vanished.

Hi,

>Is this black circular sticker rule still in place ?

No. It was abolished a few years back.

trrk, are you sure that the rule has been abolished? I have seen volunteers at traffic signals (under traffic police supervision) sticking the bull's eye sticker on headlamps which dont have them.

I doubt that it is necessary to stick the black spot since the bulbs these days are anyway blacked out at the tips. at least on the newer cars it is done
