Steam and Shine Spa is pretty famous in New Delhi for wrapping services.
Retro Rraps is a newly found organization too.

Check their FB pages out.

Check out D.A.D. Heard they are the best around. They have done wrap on cars like Murcielago, R8, C63, Z4 etc.

One pic of their work.

Does anyone know a good place in Chennai for getting an Evoque wrapped. It's white now but I'm planning on getting it wrapped in a darkish matte blue and fit some 18" black colour alloys. It looks sexy in my head atleast. :D

I would watch my car at D.A.D. Was not impressed with the way the team drive around in customers cars, more like armature night and testosterone filled. Seen the way they treat customer cars whilst driving them, total disregard for traffic etiquette, othe motorists, and high value property of customers. Folks need to realise they are not in high school anymore if they serious about providing a PROFESSIONAL service

Thought it was their car(s). Could be mistaken.

Kishan, you sure the W140 will look good in Matte Black?
Did you consider any other wrap color or a new paint-job?
Ok, the new paint-job will rob you of the original color but I just can't digest the image of a Matte Black W140.

IMO, the matte black won't look much appealing on the cherubic and timeless beauty of the W140.

There is such an Evoque here in Mumbai.
It has the "Facebook Blue" color wrap; a little on the darker side.
You might be thinking of the same color :D

The pic is there somewhere on the forum. Looks quite unique in person and breaks the monotony in the sea of "Matte Black" wraps.

I would also suggest you give Retro Rraps a try. Its owned by 2 fellow Bhpians.
Here's the link to their FB page http://m.facebook.com/RetroRraps

why do you want to wrap the car as beautiful as the w140 in matt black OR gold chrome or whatever?!?!?!?

get it painted in a nice shade of mercedes blue or black. get it properly detailed so that the original paint shines instead of a shoddy chrome.

please remember - it's a classic car you are trying to bling out. i won't be surprised if your car features in the weird and wacky modjobs section

matte grey wrap done by Retro Rraps mercedes s class but not w140

You spoke my mind buddy ! 100% dot on !!

High-gloss black and all renovated chrome is the color for W140.

I am currently in Delhi and I was wondering how much should it cost to wrap our Mercedes Benz S Class W140 and these people are asking price which differ a lot somewhere arnd(rs60K to rs125K for 3m Matte Black)

After a lot discussion and argument we agreed on either Gold Chrome or Matte Black and we looked around for specialty garages which specialize in wrap jobs and one of the few good shops are in Mumbai, which would be inconvenient because the car has to be sent and brought back,so we started looking for shops in Delhi and came across only two.(Steam n Shine and DC).

If any of you guys have any expert advice about wraps please do share,it would be really helpful for us.

A high quality wrap would easily cost almost same as that of a premium paintjob. These vinyls are expensive as they are all imported.
Cheaper options are available but then you get what you pay for (You would spend more later on than what you save now).
Expect to pay around Rs.100K for a good quality wrap.

As for choosing the shade for the W140, something like a black chrome finish would be the best or a silver brushed finish would go well too. Gold and chrome would be too flashy for this Merc and those materials are super expensive as well (will almost cost twice).

If you are still inclined towards getting a matte black look, do also have a look at the carbonfibre finish (you even get leather finish now). It looks great.
I am thinking of ordering a roll myself, from a reputed manufacturer and start wrapping cars.:D

Can anyone suggest a good place for car wraps in bangalore? Considering a few colour options in the 'high gloss area' for my car. I've heard motormind do wraps. Anyone else?
