Internal Springs in Seat Upholstery

I've heard an upholstery guy commenting that if springs are included (internally) in the seat upholstery setup of M800/Omni it would feel much smoother when driving through bumpy roads. Is such a mod possible or is it a gimmick ?

And I've seen the normal seats of Ambis being converted to bucket seats. What is so special about bucket seats ?

Can the seats in entry level cars be converted to bucket seats ?

Modern seats use foam with cloth covering. Older cars like amby use springs with coir and stuff like that with a vynil covering.

lol that reminds me in the first generation pajero's u could even change the seats spring setting from soft to stiff haha

What I'm asking is that, can the springs be added to the upholstery of the entry level cars like M800/Omni ?

And will it serve any good ?

Asking the same question again plus this one...

In the Spring Tying Techniques article, they have mentioned the usage of springs for upholstery.

Is this method practical ?
