Re: The Tata Xenon Tuff Truck Concept (for Australia)

Its a neat looking car and even if it does not make it to production they have done a fantastic job with respect to the design.

Maybe this is why it will never see the production line!!

Re: The Tata Xenon Tuff Truck Concept (for Australia)

I am wondering, how have they managed to hide the under engine mechanicals, which hang very low. I doubt if this is a working prototype.

Production Xenon might look like a mean pick up truck but the actual usable ground clearance is really low for a 4x4.

Re: The Tata Xenon Tuff Truck Concept (for Australia)

Indian Xenon has 235 mm tyre and any more width comes out and scrapes the fenders. This one has nearly 400 mm wide tyre and it still stays well within the wheel well. Looks like the axle-width front and back is shortened. Good way of fitting wide tyres.

.. And its coming to the Auto Expo!

A concept version of Tata’s Xenon ute designed in Melbourne has impressed the company’s bosses in India so much they want to display it not only at February’s New Delhi motor show but other international motor shows in the region, potentially leading to a production version for global markets.
