I think that is a first-gen Golf. Would make an interesting project to convert it into GTi-spec.

My heart goes out to this sweet looking VW 1300 L.. In immaculate condition , the owner prides himself driving this .. Imagining v1p3r's and islero's faces had they gotten to see this car ..

PS : I requested the owner for the pics and said we would blank out the plates before posting , to which he said there is no need .. I could post them like that only .. Wishing publicity like this wont do any harm eh ?? Anyways what a lovely car ..
