Koni makes only shock absorbers, not leaf springs.

Rally gypsies use RANCHO shocks. Do a search, there is some info on rally gypsies.

YUCK!!! good gawrsh no!

Ride quality is the one thing that bugs me about the Gypsy and am just seeking
to improve it: however not at the expense of off-road ability, sturdiness and
handling in dirt track situations, since wlidlife reserve "ghooming" is gonna be
the major use for this set of wheels!

First you say 'yuck', that i don't get.......
Then you say 'however not at the expense of off-road ability, sturdiness and handling in dirt track situations', that too i don't get..........

Do you think that Suzuki Gypsy i posted is not a capable off-roader??? It was built to live on the rocks, if ride quality is what you're trying to improve, try a good set of wheels and tires!!!

I never said that Gypsy is not a good off-roader! But the monster truck u posted is not what I would do! Not even close!

I am talking ride quality on normal roads here: While it is a competent off-roader, right now ride quality on highways is a compromise one makes.

Surely there is a middle way: a suspension/setup that would get better ride quality on regular highway riding, while at the same time not compromising its off-road abilities too much.
