Woah brraj that is probably one of the most needed upgrade on the 1.6 GT TDi.

Can you please share the part numbers (if any) along with the time taken for the delivery.
Most importantly, please share your experience with the braking performance/improvement post the swap, once you have driven enough to understand the difference .

Excellent! Awaiting your feedback Raj. Do post the 100 - 0/60 - 0 timings if you can. Hopefully, these rotors will last the lifetime of the car. What do you think?

Is the diameter of the rotor same? What material is it? Do post the details! Will help us in sourcing them in the future.

This is the first upgrade I'd do before heading for a remap. Guaranteed!

Hi brraj, great thread, with nice mods.

Did you change your car batteries to support for higher wattage bulbs?

It won't stay gloss for very long. Give it 2 weeks and it will start looking dull and scratched. Suggest you paint it if you like the look.

I don't think so. I had the same thing on my old car for more then 3 years and the gloss was very much intact.
Here is a pic for reference.

3M will cost a bomb . You can get it done at any local sticker shop.
At HSR after you cross McD, there is a small shop next to the juice counter, i got my Ritz done by him. But this time instead of gloss finish he got dull black vinyl, when i wanted to do it for my polo, so i got that done @ another shop. But you can check with him, he can do it.

Hope it helps.

Hello BHPian

How long will the gel protect the tyre from puncture. Also it would be great if you can provide us some contact details for the similar service in chennai. Thanks in advance.

In your pic I can clearly see the roof has less of a shine than the rest of the paint. For me, when I put a vinyl on my cars roof and I saw scratches and marks appear and that the roof was looking dull compared to the rest of the paint I couldn't take it. Went and got it painted 2 weeks later, and it is brilliant. Guess its subjective.
